INT. BATUMBAKAL RESIDENCE. LIVING ROOM - DAY
CAMILLE
This is how it ends, huh? In a
gutter, in a pool of my own blood.
I always knew I would die young,
but not like this.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
I never fit in anywhere, always the
odd one out, the troublemaker. I
tried so hard to prove myself, to
be strong, to be better... but in
the end, it was all for nothing.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
I'm so tired... so tired of trying
to be someone I'm not. I wish I
could start over, do things
differently. But I guess it's too
late for that now.
CUT TO BLACK.
She knew he had been getting more and more calls like this
lately, and she didn't like it. But what could she do?
Ferdinand was the sole provider for the family and was the
only one bringing in money.
2.
As much as she tried to ignore it, she could feel the tension
building between them. The arguments grew longer and more
frequent, and the atmosphere in the house became more and
more strained.
JOANA
(visibly upset)
Ferdinand, I can't take it anymore!
These calls, the tension, it's
tearing our family apart. You need
to do something about it!
FERDINAND
(defensively)
What do you want me to do, Joana?
I'm the one who's working
tirelessly to provide for us. I
can't control who calls me or what
they want. It's not like I enjoy
this either!
JOANA
(angry)
But you could at least try to
address it, Ferdinand! It's
affecting our relationship, our
children. We can't keep living like
this.
FERDINAND
(frustrated)
I'm doing my best, Joana! I'm under
immense pressure at work, trying to
make ends meet. Can't you see that?
I can't just quit or turn away
these calls. We need the money!
JOANA
Money isn't everything, Ferdinand!
Our family's well-being should be
the priority. We're drowning in
stress, and it's suffocating us.
How much longer do we have to
endure this?
FERDINAND
(defensively)
I understand that, Joana, but what
else can I do? We have bills to
pay, mouths to feed. You can't
expect me to give up everything
we've worked for just because of
some phone calls.
3.
JOANA
(desperate)
I'm not asking you to give up
everything, Ferdinand. I'm asking
you to find a solution, to take
action. We can't let these calls
continue to destroy us. We need to
find a way to regain control of our
lives.
FERDINAND
(impatient)
And what solution do you propose,
Joana? Should I quit my job and
leave us with no income? Do you
have a magical answer to solve all
our problems?
JOANA
(teary-eyed)
I'm not asking for miracles,
Ferdinand. I'm asking for your
support and understanding. We can
explore other job opportunities,
consider different options. We
can't keep sacrificing our
happiness for the sake of money.
FERDINAND
(agitated)
You think I haven't tried, Joana?
Do you think I enjoy living like
this? I'm doing everything I can to
provide for our family. I can't
just abandon my responsibilities
because you're tired of these
calls!
FADE TO BLACK.
4.
The area was still, filled with the sounds of mourning and
the hushed whispers of the gathered crowd. The funeral of
Ferdinand, a renowned business man, (a member of the local
cartel) was taking place, and the air was heavy with grief
and tension.
In the middle of the ceremony, a phone rang, breaking the
silence of the room. Everyone turned to look as the call was
answered, and the leader of the cartel spoke on the other
end.
CARTEL WORKER
Paano na yung utang ni Ferdi? Sino
na ang mananagot?
The voice on the phone echoed through the room, sending a
chill down the spines of those who had gathered for the
funeral. The leader of the cartel had a reputation for being
ruthless, and those who owed him money knew that his patience
only stretched so far. The call was a reminder that even in
death, Ferdinand's debts still needed to be paid.
CAMILLE
(sarcastic)
Ay hindi teh, nakapakit pa mata ko
oh.
Camille closed his eyes sarcastically.
CECILE
Kumain na ka nga lang.
CAMILLE
Ano ulam?
CECILE
Sama ng loob.
CAMILLE
(happily)
Ay paborito ko.
Both sat down and ate their breakfast. After a few moments,
Camille spoke to break the silence.
CAMILLE
Musta school?
CECILE
Okay naman.
CUT TO:
GOSSIP GIRL #1
Girl, narinig mo na ba yung chika?
GOSSIP GIRL #2
(sleepy)
Anyare?
GOSSIP GIRL #1
Ms. Batumbakal's parents were
killed.
GOSSIP GIRL #2
(curious)
Seryoso?
GOSSIP GIRL #1
Oo daw, nasagap ko nga na may
kaaway daw si congressman.
6.
GOSSIP GIRL #2
Kaaway saan?
GOSSIP GIRL #1
Sa politika madam. Tapos nadamay pa
si madam principal, kawawa naman.
GOSSIP GIRL #2
Since when yan?
GOSSIP GIRL #1
Ewan ko, basta sabi nila pinatay
daw dahil sa politika.
Cecille walks past the students. The students noticed her
immediately.
CECILE
Get inside, now!
The student's went inside with Cecile. She now starts her
class.
BRYCE
Happy anniversary, baby
Bryce said, gazing into Cecille’s eyes with a soft, tender
smile.
Cecille was taken aback by the unexpected gesture.
CECILE
(whispering, voice filled
with appreciation)
You remembered.
BRYCE
(chuckles)
Of course I remembered.
Bryce said with a chuckle as he placed the gifts on Cecille’s
desk.
BRYCE (CONT'D)
How could I forget the anniversary
of our first kiss?
As they sat down to enjoy their coffee and catch up on their
day, Cecille felt a sense of happiness and contentment wash
over her. The thought of having Bryce by her side, through
thick and thin, made her heart swell with joy.
She knew that, no matter what the future held, she would
always have Bryce to lean on and make her feel loved,
accepted, and supported.
EXT. HALLWAY TO ENGLISH DEPT. FACULTY - AFTERNOON
After the class, Cecile is now at her office with Bryce.
CECILE
Aww, thanks babe for today. I
really appreciate you and your
Cecile is now fixing her things, ready to go home.
CECILE (CONT'D)
Okay, just wait me here sa labas,
madali lang ako, here oh, hold this
muna.
She handed the coffee and flowers that Bryce gave him. She
then quickly grabbed her things in the office and gone home.
Bryce took her bag for him to carry while Cecile saying
CECILE (CONT'D)
Babe, let's have a dinner sa bahay,
ipagluluto kita, as a thank you
gift ko sa pagsundo mo sa akin and
for these gift.
BRYCE
No,let's just have a dinner
outside, mapapagod ka lang magluto,
i can pay for it naman.
CECILE
Ihh ito naman, okay lang naman pero
sige tuloy bahala ka.
Bryce laughed. Both walked where the car was parked and left.
BRYCE
Maglakad lakad muna tayo para
makapag usap din tayo, it’s too
early pa naman.
Cecile check her watch, it's already past 8 pm.
CECILE
Uhm let’s go home na lang babe, I
have a seminar tomorrow, I still
have some things to do.
BRYCE
Ang aga aga pa naman tss, laging na
lang busy.
He groaned. Then complained but only whispered it to himself.
CAMILLE
Saan mo na naman pinagdadala
kapatid ko, Bryce? It’s already 9
PM, gabing gabi na ah.
CECILE
Camille ano ba, we just went out
for dinner after niya akong sunduin
sa school, there’s nothing to worry
about
Cecile responded while slightly pushing Camille inside their
house.
BRYCE
Kumain lang kami ng dinner and had
a little talk after ko siyang
sunduin, please don’t be dramatic,
maayos ko naman siyang hinatid
pauwi ah.
3.
CECILE
Camille ano ba?! Stop it!!
Apologize to him at pumasok ka na
sa loob.
Camille didn't say sorry. He slammed the door angrily when he
entered the house.
Cecile rolled her eyes because of Camille's actions
CECILE (CONT'D)
Babe, I am sorry, drive safely,
bye!
Cecile said while flashing an apologetic smile.
BRYCE
Tsk.
CAMILLE
Wow, are you wearing a blindfold
kaya’t wala kang makita o naumpog
ba ‘yang ulo mo habang nagtuturo at
wala ka nang maalala na ginago ka
no'n?
CECILE
Oh please, nag apologize na ‘yong
tao sa’kin, what do you want him to
do? Lumuhod siya saiyo at magsorry
rin?
Camille took the car keys, smirking behind her sister's back.
CAMILLE
Good luck on your seminar!
Camille said before completely living the house.
CECILE
Thank you, I will just ask Camille
to pick me up, bye!
Cecile waved to Bryce.
MESSAGE
Nakauwi ka na pala, buti nga’t
ligtas ka pa.
He then looked around and wondered who messaged him but no
one's there.
(CLIPS OF THE UNKNOWN PERSON FOLLOWING BRYCE AROUND)
CAMILLE
No, it’s mine.
Camille replied as he opened the door and there is a brown
envelope. He already knows the content of it and laughs a
little. He then went straight to his room.
He opened the envelope.
(Clip of him opening wherein can be seen with photos of Bryce
turning around everywhere. The guy in the photos is a bit
unknown so it should seem like the audience can't be revealed
that Bryce is really that, like not being recognized
immediately. There are also some timestamps written on what
time it is and when it is.)
EXT. STREET - NIGHT
It was night and Bryce was was walking home from work, when
suddenly…
Camille sneaks up from behind Bryce and Bryce doesn’t notice.
CAMILLE
Alam ko anong ginawa mo.
BRYCE
Paano-
CAMILLE
Hindi mo naman yata iniisip na
hindi ko pinaghandaan ‘to, diba?
Even if it means following you and
watching you. You’re lucky I
haven’t killed you when I found out
what you were doing to my sister.
Camille then stabs him in his other foot, earning an
anguished scream from the other.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
To be honest, this is so much
better than watching you snore with
other women.
CAMILLE
Challenge accepted.
3.
CO-TEACHER #2
Well, if you say so, Ate Cecile.
Basta good luck sainyo, ang cute
niyong tingnan magkasama!
Co-teacher #2 giggles.
CO-TEACHER #3
“Kayong tatlo diyan, bumalik na
ulit kayo sa trabaho kung ayaw
niyong ma-late sa klase niyo
FIL TEACHER #1
Wala siyang sinabing kahit ano,
kahit paramdam man lang wala. Baka
nagkasakit.
CECILE
Ah ganon ba? Sige, thank you po.
Cecile leaves school, feeling worried. She decides to drive
up to Bryce’s home, but he was nowhere to be found. She tries
to call Bryce’s friend to ask where he is but they don’t know
either.
CECILE
Hello?
BRYCE'S FRIEND
(VOICE CLIP)
Hello? Sino ‘to?
CECILE
Ahh, I’m Cecile. Cecile Batumbakal,
Bryce’s girlfriend. Do you know
where Bryce is? Hindi ko siya
nakita buong araw at hindi siya
nagparamdam. Wala rin siya sa bahay
niya. May masamang kutob na ako
dito.
BRYCE'S FRIEND
Sorry Cecile, pero kahit sakin ay
wala rin siyang paramdam ngayong
araw eh.
CECILE
Oh, sige po. Thank you.
The call hangs up
5.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
Pinanganak kang bobo, lalaki kang
bobo, mamamatay ka ring bobo.
Gunshot.
FADE OUT.
EXT. OUTSIDE THE WAREHOUSE - DAY
Someone who was jogging around the neighborhood passes by the
warehouse and smells a foul smell.
CITIZEN
Ano yun? Ang baho ng amoy,
nakakasuka.
They figure out that it was from inside the warehouse.
They stand at the entrance but before they open the door,
they get a shiver down their spine.
CITIZEN (CONT'D)
Parang iba ‘to.
They push (or pull) open the door and it takes a while for
them to process what was in front of them. But once they do,
they scream like they’re losing their sanity and rushes out
and dials the police.
CUT TO:
NOTE
The clock is ticking, don't keep us
waiting$$$
She flipped the letter and saw the photo of her parents.
CECILE
(walks back and forth in
disbelief)
No, no, no, no, no.
CECILE
I need to find all the answers to
my questions.
Cecile starts to look around. She suddenly found the drug
transaction receipts.
CECILE (CONT'D)
Here it is.
A key fell from the folder.
CECILE (CONT'D)
Crap.
Cecile immediately hides.
KEEPER
Bakit nakalock 'to?
The Keeper gets her keys and opens the office.
Cecile goes through the back door.
CECILE
That was close.
Cecile hurriedly went to the parking lot and drove to her
father's office.
3.
Cecile patiently waited and the staff came back with the key.
CECILE
Thank you.
Cecile opens the office. She rushes to the desk, looking for
something. She goes down to look in the drawer. Cecile finds
a box.
CECILE
Where did I last hid the freaking
key?!
Cecile found the key in her purse.
CECILE (CONT'D)
I have to go somewhere private.
Cecile took the box and headed to her car.
She then used the key she found in her mom's office to open
the black box. She opens the black box. She then reads the
file inside it.
She is in shock.
CECILE (CONT'D)
Father was in a cartel?
She broke down. She then rips or crumple the file and throws
it to the window. She then let it all out in the wheel of her
car. After that, she then decides to go home.
CAMILLE
You'll pay...
Camille slams the door loudly. He then starts to scream,
tears are being evident from his eyes. He hits his head with
his fists for a few moments and he throws things everywhere
creating a huge mess.
KARTEL
Your time is running out, kung ayaw
mong matulad sa ate mo, pay the
money as soon as possible.
Camille tries to process everything, staring blankly in space
INT. WAREHOUSE
Bryce's corpse is lying face down on the concrete floor of
the warehouse.
Camille's hands are bloody and his attire stained with blood.
Camille heads to the bathroom to pick up some cleaning
utensils, a brush, soap and water.
He starts brushing away at the bloody floor, scrubbing any
bloody mess.
After he finishes scrubbing the blood of the corpse he
returns to the bathroom to return the utensils and take off
his T-Shirt and wash the stain off the T-Shirt and his hands.
CAMILLE
Guard, can you tell me what tattoo
that MAN has on his neck?
GUARD
It's a butterfly tattoo sir, may I
ask why you asked?
CAMILLE
Oh nothing, I just needed to
confirm some things.
CAMILLE
(Calm)
Good, because I think there might
be a murder tomorrow, I don't know
what time, where it is but I think
there will be one. It will probably
be in the Batumbakal House but I
don't know when it will happen.
A long pause.
POLICEPERSON
Pardon me if I am wrong sir, but
you have come here to report a
possible murder in your home, sir?
CAMILLE
That's exactly right, Mr.
Policeperson.
A short pause.
POLICEPERSON
So you've come to report a possible
murder but you do not know when it
will happen but just that it will
happen?
CAMILLE
Indeed, that's what I am telling
you.
A short pause.
POLICEPERSON
I see, I'll see what I can do. May
I have your name sir?
5.
CAMILLE
Camille Batumbakal. Camille Hayden
Batumbakal.
POLICEPERSON
Mhm, Just like I said I'll see what
I can do about it.
The policeperson hangs up the phone.
WOMAN
You better say it before I kill
you.
The woman interrupts.
CAMILLE
(Scary and Surprising)
BOO!!
Camille shouts at the woman, to which the woman responded by
shooting Camille's right foot.
6.
WOMAN
Out of everybody I have killed, you
might be the dumbest one.
Camille crawls to the outside of the door as his right foot
was blown off.
WOMAN (CONT'D)
You're like a worm.
The woman says before shooting Camille's remaining left foot.
Camille shrivels up in pain and his face grimaces into a
pained expression.
IRENE
It has been nice playing with you.
My nephew.
The woman points her gun at Camille's head.
CUT TO:
IRENE BATUMBAKAL
I've already lost count of your
father's broken promises.
kinasa yung baril. She almost pulls the trigger.
IRENE BATUMBAKAL (CONT'D)
1 down, you're the 1 to go.
CAMILLE
(steps back)
Auntie..
But before she could shoot him, the police arrives and she
misses, she freaked out.
CARTEL WORKER
The cops just arrived.
Police car noises were heard from the ouutside. Irene pulls
the trigger and shots his leg.
CAMILLE
(shouts in pain)
Fuck this!
IRENE BATUMBAKAL
You just got lucky.
2.
NURSE
How are you sir?
The nurse asks while checking his temperature and vital
signs.
CAMILLE
I am fine. How long has it been
since I was here?
NURSE
Not too long.
The nurse then finishes checking up on him and proceeds to
exit.
NURSE (CONT'D)
Now I must be on my way now, sir.
She now exits carrying the medical equipmenet she brought.
Camille picks up his phone that has been ringing since the
nurse exited. He unlocks his phone and sees that the caller
is an unknown number.
He contemplates whether he should answer this call as he
thinks it might be a scammer. As he is contemplating, he
answered the call.
The call is silent for a few moments before the caller
speaks. Camille hears that the caller's voice is feminine,
Camille thinks who this caller might be, as he recalls his
memories to remember any woman who might have known his
number.
ANONYMOUS CALLER
Hello Camille.
Camille ponders for a moment to think about who that voice
might belong, until it clicked in his mind. The caller is his
auntie, the kartel leader.
The caller is waiting for any response from Camille without
confirming that Camille is there.
AUNTIE
I am sure you already know who I am
by now. Let's proceed to what I
have to say.
CAMILLE
What do you want?
He answers in a serious yet unconcerned voice.
4.
AUNTIE
Oh, hahahaha, you're really asking
that? Oh my nephew, I want nothing
else but your dea-
CAMILLE
You are not my aunt.
Camille ends the call abruptly.
Camille then yawns and proceeds to change into a more
comfortable lying position and proceeds to open up a game.
CUT TO:
END CREDITS
CUT TO:
CAMILLE
(crying and shouts)
I can't believe you're my father.
And with that, he snatched the knife that his father used to
murder his mom and stabbed him with it.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
Go to hell, exactly where you
belong.
He twisted the knife and pulled it out his father's body. But
the nightmare was far from over. As Camille came to grips
with what he had just done, the weight of his actions hit him
like a ton of bricks. He had just killed his own father. The
guilt and regret were too much to bear.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
(Trembling, tears
streaming down his face)
I... I couldn't let it go on. I had
to stop him.
Camille's father's last words echoed in his head like a
haunting melody, a constant reminder of the terrible deed he
had just committed. The memory of that fateful night would
haunt him forever.
