INT. BATUMBAKAL RESIDENCE. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Camille lies on the ground, surrounded by his own blood and

the wailing of sirens in the distance. As he looks up at the
ceiling, he takes a deep breath, trying to steady his racing
heart.

CAMILLE
This is how it ends, huh? In a
gutter, in a pool of my own blood.
I always knew I would die young,
but not like this.

A single, silent tear rolls down his cheek as his mind

wanders back to the past, to the people he has lost, the
mistakes he has made, and the endless cycle of pain and
suffering that has brought him to this moment.

CAMILLE (CONT'D)
I never fit in anywhere, always the
odd one out, the troublemaker. I
tried so hard to prove myself, to
be strong, to be better... but in
the end, it was all for nothing.

With a deep, gut-wrenching cry, Camille lets out all the

pain, anger, and frustration that has been building up inside
him for so long.

CAMILLE (CONT'D)
I'm so tired... so tired of trying
to be someone I'm not. I wish I
could start over, do things
differently. But I guess it's too
late for that now.

With a final, rasping breath, Camille closes his eyes and

gives in to the darkness, letting go of the pain and the
burden of his past. As the sirens grow louder in the
distance, Camille's body goes limp, a single tear rolling
down his cheek, signaling the end of his mortal journey.

CUT TO BLACK.

INT. BATUMBAKAL RESIDENCE. DINING ROOM - NIGHT

Ferdinand’s phone rang in the middle of dinner, interrupting

the family's peaceful meal. His wife, Joana, visibly frowned
at the interruption and shot a warning glance at her husband,
knowing exactly what the call was for.

She knew he had been getting more and more calls like this
lately, and she didn't like it. But what could she do?
Ferdinand was the sole provider for the family and was the
only one bringing in money.
2.

As much as she tried to ignore it, she could feel the tension
building between them. The arguments grew longer and more
frequent, and the atmosphere in the house became more and
more strained.

But it all came to a head the night Ferdinand lost his

temper. It started with a simple disagreement, but things
quickly escalated. Words turned into violence, and violence
turned into bloodshed.

JOANA
(visibly upset)
Ferdinand, I can't take it anymore!
These calls, the tension, it's
tearing our family apart. You need
to do something about it!

FERDINAND
(defensively)
What do you want me to do, Joana?
I'm the one who's working
tirelessly to provide for us. I
can't control who calls me or what
they want. It's not like I enjoy
this either!
JOANA
(angry)
But you could at least try to
address it, Ferdinand! It's
affecting our relationship, our
children. We can't keep living like
this.

FERDINAND
(frustrated)
I'm doing my best, Joana! I'm under
immense pressure at work, trying to
make ends meet. Can't you see that?
I can't just quit or turn away
these calls. We need the money!

JOANA
Money isn't everything, Ferdinand!
Our family's well-being should be
the priority. We're drowning in
stress, and it's suffocating us.
How much longer do we have to
endure this?
FERDINAND
(defensively)
I understand that, Joana, but what
else can I do? We have bills to
pay, mouths to feed. You can't
expect me to give up everything
we've worked for just because of
some phone calls.
3.

JOANA
(desperate)
I'm not asking you to give up
everything, Ferdinand. I'm asking
you to find a solution, to take
action. We can't let these calls
continue to destroy us. We need to
find a way to regain control of our
lives.

FERDINAND
(impatient)
And what solution do you propose,
Joana? Should I quit my job and
leave us with no income? Do you
have a magical answer to solve all
our problems?
JOANA
(teary-eyed)
I'm not asking for miracles,
Ferdinand. I'm asking for your
support and understanding. We can
explore other job opportunities,
consider different options. We
can't keep sacrificing our
happiness for the sake of money.

FERDINAND
(agitated)
You think I haven't tried, Joana?
Do you think I enjoy living like
this? I'm doing everything I can to
provide for our family. I can't
just abandon my responsibilities
because you're tired of these
calls!

As Camille watched in horror from the corner of the room,

Joana and Ferdinand were locked in a

fierce struggle, each wanting to come out on top. A shocking

event then happened.
Camille, visibly annoyed cleanses his palate with water. He
picks up his plate and heads to the kitchen to pick up a
knife and to place the plate into the washing area.
Out of anger, Ferdinand stabbed Joana.

Ferdinand took time to process what was happening.

A shadow then came running at Ferdinand aand stabbed him dead
with a knife.

FADE TO BLACK.
4.

EXT. CEMENTERY - AFTERNOON

The area was still, filled with the sounds of mourning and
the hushed whispers of the gathered crowd. The funeral of
Ferdinand, a renowned business man, (a member of the local
cartel) was taking place, and the air was heavy with grief
and tension.
In the middle of the ceremony, a phone rang, breaking the
silence of the room. Everyone turned to look as the call was
answered, and the leader of the cartel spoke on the other
end.
CARTEL WORKER
Paano na yung utang ni Ferdi? Sino
na ang mananagot?
The voice on the phone echoed through the room, sending a
chill down the spines of those who had gathered for the
funeral. The leader of the cartel had a reputation for being
ruthless, and those who owed him money knew that his patience
only stretched so far. The call was a reminder that even in
death, Ferdinand's debts still needed to be paid.

As the conversation progressed, the mood in the room grew

more tense. The members of the cartel who had come to pay
their respects knew that they were in a dangerous situation.
One wrong move, and their lives could be at risk. But there
was no time to dwell on the danger. Ferdinand's family was
facing their own struggles, as they tried to come to terms
with the loss of their loved one. The thought of having to
deal with his debts on top of the pain of his death was
almost too much to bear.
Still, the family knew that they had to find a way to handle
the situation. Ferdinand's debts would not go away just
because he was gone, and they knew that they had a difficult
road ahead of them as they tried to navigate the complex
world of the cartel and its affairs.
The sound of the phone call echoed through the room like a
siren's call, a reminder of the dangers that lurked in the
shadows, even in the midst of grief. As the ceremony came to
a close, everyone knew that the challenge of paying off
Ferdinand's debts would be a difficult one, but they were
determined to find a way to make it work. After all, that's
what Ferdinand would have wanted.

FADE IN:

INT. CECILE'S CLASSROOM

Cecille was sitting at her desk, poring over a stack of

papers, trying to get through her class assignments. She had
been so invested in her work that she had barely noticed as
the time had flown by.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps and laughter filled the
classroom. Curious, Cecille looked up and was surprised to
see her boyfriend, Bryce, entering the room, carrying a
bouquet of flowers and a couple of coffee cups.
The sound of their voices instantly brought a smile to
Cecille’s face. She leapt from her chair and rushed over to
meet Bryce, who had a huge grin on her face. The moment they
met, Bryce leaned forward and gave Cecille a quick kiss on
the cheek, making her blush. She couldn’t help but feel her
heart pounding in her chest as Bryce handed her the flowers
and coffee.
7.

BRYCE
Happy anniversary, baby
Bryce said, gazing into Cecille’s eyes with a soft, tender
smile.
Cecille was taken aback by the unexpected gesture.
CECILE
(whispering, voice filled
with appreciation)
You remembered.
BRYCE
(chuckles)
Of course I remembered.
Bryce said with a chuckle as he placed the gifts on Cecille’s
desk.

BRYCE (CONT'D)
How could I forget the anniversary
of our first kiss?
As they sat down to enjoy their coffee and catch up on their
day, Cecille felt a sense of happiness and contentment wash
over her. The thought of having Bryce by her side, through
thick and thin, made her heart swell with joy.

She knew that, no matter what the future held, she would
always have Bryce to lean on and make her feel loved,
accepted, and supported.
EXT. HALLWAY TO ENGLISH DEPT. FACULTY - AFTERNOON
After the class, Cecile is now at her office with Bryce.
CECILE
Aww, thanks babe for today. I
really appreciate you and your
Cecile is now fixing her things, ready to go home.

CECILE (CONT'D)
Okay, just wait me here sa labas,
madali lang ako, here oh, hold this
muna.
She handed the coffee and flowers that Bryce gave him. She
then quickly grabbed her things in the office and gone home.

Bryce took her bag for him to carry while Cecile saying
CECILE (CONT'D)
Babe, let's have a dinner sa bahay,
ipagluluto kita, as a thank you
gift ko sa pagsundo mo sa akin and

BRYCE
No,let's just have a dinner
outside, mapapagod ka lang magluto,
i can pay for it naman.
CECILE
Ihh ito naman, okay lang naman pero
sige tuloy bahala ka.
Bryce laughed. Both walked where the car was parked and left.

INT. RESTAURANT - AFTERNOON

Bryce and Cecile are now sitting at their seat, waiting for
their order.
CECILE
Mas makakatipid tayo sa bahay
namin, sabi ko naman sa’yo na i'll
cook for our dinner eh.
BRYCE
It’s fine besides hindi naman dito
mahal.
Bryce insisted. After a few moments, their order arrived and
both ate.

After they ate.

2.

BRYCE
Maglakad lakad muna tayo para
makapag usap din tayo, it’s too
early pa naman.
Cecile check her watch, it's already past 8 pm.
CECILE
Uhm let’s go home na lang babe, I
have a seminar tomorrow, I still
have some things to do.
BRYCE
Ang aga aga pa naman tss, laging na
lang busy.
He groaned. Then complained but only whispered it to himself.

EXT. OUTSIDE BATUMBAKAL'S RESIDENCE - NIGHT

Camille slightly opened the door to hear their conversation
and Cecile didn’t notice it.
CECILE
Thanks for tonight, see you
tomorrow na lang!

Cecile told Bryce while waving good bye.

BRYCE
You’re welcome babe, good night!
Bryce gave Cecile a flying kiss.
Camille couldn't wait so he opened the door.

CAMILLE
Saan mo na naman pinagdadala
kapatid ko, Bryce? It’s already 9
PM, gabing gabi na ah.
CECILE
Camille ano ba, we just went out
for dinner after niya akong sunduin
sa school, there’s nothing to worry
about
Cecile responded while slightly pushing Camille inside their
house.
BRYCE
Kumain lang kami ng dinner and had
a little talk after ko siyang
sunduin, please don’t be dramatic,
maayos ko naman siyang hinatid
pauwi ah.
3.

Bryce said while slightly smirking to Camille.

Camille had plans to start a fight with Bryce but Cecile
stopped him.

CECILE
Camille ano ba?! Stop it!!
Apologize to him at pumasok ka na
sa loob.
Camille didn't say sorry. He slammed the door angrily when he
entered the house.
Cecile rolled her eyes because of Camille's actions
CECILE (CONT'D)
Babe, I am sorry, drive safely,
bye!
Cecile said while flashing an apologetic smile.
BRYCE
Tsk.

INT. INSIDE BATUMBAKAL'S RESIDENCE - NIGHT

CECILE
Ano ‘yon Camille?? Napakabastos mo!
He is considered to be a visitor
tapos kung ano ano na
pinambibintang mo!
Cecile angrily shouted at Camille
As an insult, Camille turned the TV on its highest volume.
CECILE (CONT'D)
See napakabastos mo! I am talking
to you tapos hindi ka nakikinig!

Cecile grabbed the remote and turned off the tv.

Camille then stood up and shouted at Cecile.
CAMILLE
Teacher ka ba talaga? He cheated on
you! Linoko ka na, binalikan mo
pa?!? Napakatanga namang Teacher
‘yan!
Cecile slaps Camille out of anger
CECILE
What on earth are you talking
about??
4.

CAMILLE
Wow, are you wearing a blindfold
kaya’t wala kang makita o naumpog
ba ‘yang ulo mo habang nagtuturo at
wala ka nang maalala na ginago ka
no'n?
CECILE
Oh please, nag apologize na ‘yong
tao sa’kin, what do you want him to
do? Lumuhod siya saiyo at magsorry
rin?

Cecile asked, and then fake laughed.

CAMILLE
Oh come on Cecile, imulat mo ‘yang
mga mata't tenga mo!! Naririnig mo
ba sarili mo?? He fooled you once,
shame on him, napakagago niya. But
if he'll fool you twice,
that’ll be shame on you!!
Camille shouted and walked out the scene.
CECILE
I love him, Camille, what can I do?
Mali bang magbigay ng tyansa at
sumaya?

She whispered to herself while watching Camille walk out of

the scene.

INT. AT THE DINING TABLE - MORNING

Cecile walked downstairs wearing a formal attire.
CECILE
Good morning!
Cecile greeted Camille.
CECILE (CONT'D)
Camille, hey, look I am sorry, he
promised me na hindi na ‘yon
mauulit.

Cecile told Camille as she approached him.

CAMILLE
Promises are always meant to be
broken, you know that right? If
that happens, I want you to cut the
connection between the two of you.
Camille said and pats Cecile’s head.
5.

Camille took the car keys, smirking behind her sister's back.
CAMILLE
Good luck on your seminar!
Camille said before completely living the house.

INT./EXT. BATUMBAKAL'S RESIDENCE - MORNING

Doorbell rings.
CECILE
Coming!
Cecile shouted while hurriedly opens the dooor.
CECILE
You’re too early hmp.
CAMILLE
Hindi ka pa tapos mag-ayos? Go
lang, I'll wait here.
Bryce smiles.
CECILE
No, let’s go na.
Cecile said while pulling Bryce outside the house.
While walking, Cecile immediately looked at her back.
BRYCE
What’s the problem?
CECILE
Nothing, I just thought that
someone was following us, guni guni
ko lang ata.
Cecile laughs.
BRYCE
You’re really nervous for the
seminar ‘no? Come on, you got this.
Bryce assured Cecile with a sincere smile and while holding
her hand.
CECILE
Ang layo naman kasi ng pinagparkan
mo.
Cecile reasoned. Bryce just laughs. The continued walking.
UNKNOWN
Umalis na sila, papunta na diyan
6.

EXT. SCHOOL. DAY

Bryce took Cecile to the venue of her seminar at the school.
BRYCE
Good luck on your seminar, i can’t
pick you up later, may meeting

Bryce whispered while hugging Cecile.

CECILE
Thank you, I will just ask Camille
to pick me up, bye!
Cecile waved to Bryce.

EXT. SOMEWHERE IN THE SCHOOL- HIDING

UNKNOWN
He’s on his way to his first class,
Sir.
CAMILLE
Bantayan mo.
UNKNOWN
Opo, marami po kaming nakabantay.

EXT. STREET - NIGHT

Bryce is walking home late because of the meeting he
attended.
He is walking the heard some footsteps.
He turned around if someone was there.
He continued to walk towards aa convenience store and noticed
someone in a hoodie following him.

INT. CAMILLE'S ROOM - NIGHT

Camille received a message. But before reading it, he checked
the time.
UNKNOWN
Nakauwi na po siya.

INT./EXT. BRYCE'S HOUSE-NIGHT

He received a messaged before he could get inside his house.
7.

MESSAGE
Nakauwi ka na pala, buti nga’t
ligtas ka pa.
He then looked around and wondered who messaged him but no
one's there.
(CLIPS OF THE UNKNOWN PERSON FOLLOWING BRYCE AROUND)

INT./EXT. BATUMBAKAL'S RESIDENCE - DAY

Doorbell rings
CECILE
Camille, check mo nga, baka order
ko na ‘yon sa shopee!
Cecile shouted while she was in the bathroom.

CAMILLE
No, it’s mine.
Camille replied as he opened the door and there is a brown
envelope. He already knows the content of it and laughs a
little. He then went straight to his room.
He opened the envelope.
(Clip of him opening wherein can be seen with photos of Bryce
turning around everywhere. The guy in the photos is a bit
unknown so it should seem like the audience can't be revealed
that Bryce is really that, like not being recognized
immediately. There are also some timestamps written on what
time it is and when it is.)
EXT. STREET - NIGHT
It was night and Bryce was was walking home from work, when
suddenly…
Camille sneaks up from behind Bryce and Bryce doesn’t notice.
CAMILLE
Alam ko anong ginawa mo.

Bryce is caught off guard as he turns around to see who it

was, only to have no time to dodge the baseball bat that was
on his way. The lasting he sees is the psychopathic stare and
the sinister grin Camille had on his face.
Camille hits Bryce with a baseball bat in the head hard
enough to make him lose consciousness but not enough to kill
him.
Bryce is now on the ground, lying unconscious.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
…and there will be consequences.”

INT. WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

Bryce wakes up dizzy and slowly tries to take in his
surroundings. He is blindfolded by what seems to be a silk
cloth. ‘A necktie, perhaps?’ he thought as he tries to feel
what was around him…
Only to be horrified to find out that he was on a chair,
tightly bound by his wrists and ankles by rope. It hurts him,
the rope digs into the flesh of his skin that it starts to
bleed.
Camille slowly walks where Bryce is (you can hear the
footsteps)
CAMILLE
Gising ka na pala, and I was hoping
you’d never wake up again. Pero
okay na rin yun. Ayoko namang
mamatay ka nang wala man lang
kahiraphirap.

Camille takes Bryce’s blindfold off.

Bryce looks at Camille in the eye, grins, and starts to
chuckle.
BRYCE
“You think you’re so smart
abducting me like this, huh?
Camille Hayden Batumbakal. Alam mo,
parehas kayo ng ate mo, mga walang
alam. You’re both so naïve.
2.
BRYCE (CONT'D)
She should even be thankful that I
even considered dating her, if not
for her body and looks. Nakakatawa
lang kasi nagpakatanga siya. I-try
mong sugatan siya, pagtatakpan ka
pa nun sa ibang tao eh—
He was abruptly cut as Camille punches him (in the jaw)
Camille grabs him by his jaw and makes him forcibly look at
him.
CAMILLE
You know, you have a big mouth for
someone who has a small brain.
Bryce looked appalled at what Camille said.

BRYCE
Paano-
CAMILLE
Hindi mo naman yata iniisip na
hindi ko pinaghandaan ‘to, diba?
Even if it means following you and
watching you. You’re lucky I
haven’t killed you when I found out
what you were doing to my sister.
Camille then stabs him in his other foot, earning an
anguished scream from the other.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
To be honest, this is so much
better than watching you snore with
other women.

He slices the skin along Bryce’s cheek.

Bryce chuckles a bit
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
“Matibay ka for someone who’s taken
a few stabs. I bet you’re not even
going to last that long. Walang
makakarinig sayo kahit sumigaw ka.
BRYCE
Minamaliit mo yung taong ginawang
tanga yung ate mo. Kahit pahirapan
mo ‘ko, hindi mo ‘ko mapapatahimik.
Camille picks up a baseball bat.

CAMILLE
Challenge accepted.
3.

INT. ENGLISH DEPT. FACULTY. AT CECILE'S DESK - DAY

Cecile goes to work at school. She sits at her desk and
starts sorting a few files here and there to start her day.
CO-TEACHER #1
Good morning, Cecile!
CECILE
Good morning too!
CO-TEACHER #1
Ang glowing mo naman ngayon I’m
sure na wala namang ganap.
CO-TEACHER #2
Hindi ba obvious? Magda-date sila
ni Sir Castriel. Diba tama ako, Ate
Cecile?
Cecile laughs a bit.
CECILE
Wala naman kaming date ngayon. He’s
too busy right now. Plus, gusto ko
lang naman magpa-ganda para sa
sarili ko, hindi ba puwede?

CO-TEACHER #2
Well, if you say so, Ate Cecile.
Basta good luck sainyo, ang cute
niyong tingnan magkasama!
Co-teacher #2 giggles.
CO-TEACHER #3
“Kayong tatlo diyan, bumalik na
ulit kayo sa trabaho kung ayaw
niyong ma-late sa klase niyo

CECILE, CO-TEACHER #1, CO-TEACHER #2

(altogether)
Yes, Ma’am!

Cecile laughs at herself and continues to sort the files in

her desk. She stares outside, seemingly waiting for Bryce to
come and greet him as he usually does, but he never came.
Cecile seemed a bit disappointed but brushed it off as she
headed to her class.

INT. CECILE'S CLASSROOM - AFTERNOON

But even as the day ended, there was no sign of Bryce, nor a
text from him. Cecile felt something was off. She tries to
call Bryce’s phone, but it went straight to voicemail.
4.

Then she tries to visit Bryce’s desk in the Filipino Office

and found that he had left his jacket in his chair. She asks
the other teachers if they had seen Bryce this day.
CECILE
Good afternoon. Have you seen
Bryce? Hindi ko po siya nakita
ngayong araw eh.
FIL TEACHER #1:
Hindi po pumasok si Sir Castriel
ngayong araw, Ms. Batumbakal.
CECILE
Ohhh, I see… Pero nag-iwan po ba
siya ng message or note kung bakit
hindi siya pumasok?

FIL TEACHER #1
Wala siyang sinabing kahit ano,
kahit paramdam man lang wala. Baka
nagkasakit.
CECILE
Ah ganon ba? Sige, thank you po.
Cecile leaves school, feeling worried. She decides to drive
up to Bryce’s home, but he was nowhere to be found. She tries
to call Bryce’s friend to ask where he is but they don’t know
either.
CECILE
Hello?
BRYCE'S FRIEND
(VOICE CLIP)
Hello? Sino ‘to?
CECILE
Ahh, I’m Cecile. Cecile Batumbakal,
Bryce’s girlfriend. Do you know
where Bryce is? Hindi ko siya
nakita buong araw at hindi siya
nagparamdam. Wala rin siya sa bahay
niya. May masamang kutob na ako
dito.
BRYCE'S FRIEND
Sorry Cecile, pero kahit sakin ay
wala rin siyang paramdam ngayong
araw eh.
CECILE
Oh, sige po. Thank you.
The call hangs up
5.

Cecile shivers. She thought that maybe Bryce was avoiding

her, maybe he doesn’t want her anymore. But no. It was
impossible that he would leave his belongings just like that
ang goes off to somewhere that even the closest people to him
doesn’t know. It’s like Bryce has gone without a trace.
It doesn’t take long before Cecile connects all the dots—
Bryce was missing.

EXT. OUTSIDE OF A POLICE STATION - DAY

After Cecile reports to the authorities, she would start to
put up posters.
MISSING — Bryce Moore Castriel
Cecile puts up posters everwhere and hands out flyers to
people she walks by. Unbeknownst to her awareness, a member
of the Drug Cartel watches her from a distance, enough to go
unnoticed by her.

INT. WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

Bryce has a lot of bruises, a FEW lacerations on his body,
and a bleeding nose.
CAMILLE
I guess you made it this far. I’m
impressed.
Bryce looked at Camille with a tired expression.
BRYCE
You’re a monster, Camille.
Camille laughs.
CAMILLE
Better a monster than an arrogant
God. Tingnan mo kung saan ka
humantong ngayon.
Camille pulls the rope around Bryce’s neck.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
Any last words? Mr. Bryce Moore
Castriel?
Bryce sobs a bit.
BRYCE
(shaky voice)
Please! I-i’m sorry! Maawa ka-
CAMILLE
Gosh! Never mind!
6.

Camille pulls out a gun and aims it at Bryce’s forehead.

CAMILLE (CONT'D)
Up until the very end you’re still
so pathetic. Well, people actually
never change. Their genetic makeup
has already predetermined their
destiny, personality, and
decisions, and science supports
this idea.
Camille moves closer at Bryce’s face and looks at him in the
eye like he’s staring at his soul.

CAMILLE (CONT'D)
Pinanganak kang bobo, lalaki kang
bobo, mamamatay ka ring bobo.
Gunshot.
FADE OUT.
EXT. OUTSIDE THE WAREHOUSE - DAY
Someone who was jogging around the neighborhood passes by the
warehouse and smells a foul smell.
CITIZEN
Ano yun? Ang baho ng amoy,
nakakasuka.
They figure out that it was from inside the warehouse.
They stand at the entrance but before they open the door,
they get a shiver down their spine.
CITIZEN (CONT'D)
Parang iba ‘to.
They push (or pull) open the door and it takes a while for
them to process what was in front of them. But once they do,
they scream like they’re losing their sanity and rushes out
and dials the police.
CUT TO:

INT. WAREHOUSE - DAY

Many investigating policemen around it. ("Crime Scene Do Not

INT./EXT. CECILE'S HOUSE - DAY
POLICE OFFICER SANCHEZ
Good day. Are you Ms. Cecile
Batumbakal? The girlfriend of Mr.
Bryce Castriel?
CECILE
Yes and yes. What happened? Is he
okay?
POLICE OFFICER SANCHEZ
We are sorry to inform you but your
boyfriend was found dead at a
warehouse of huge drug dealers.
Cecile breaks down from the news. Her boyfriend is dead.
CECILE
(shaky voice)
No, this can't be true.
POLICE OFFICER SANCHEZ
His body is now going into autopsy,
please go to this address.
Police Officer Sanchez hands over the address written on a
paper.
POLICE OFFICER SANCHEZ (CONT'D)
Again, our deepest condolences.
Police Officer Sanchez leaves the house

Cecile goes inside the house and continues to cry.

Camille smirking at the back
CAMILLE
Asshole.

INT./EXT. BATUMBAKAL RESIDENCE - DAY

Cecile goes out of the house and picks up the box.
CECILE
Why is it black?
Cecile heads inside. When she opened the box, there is a
clock inside.

Cecile patiently waited and the staff came back with the key.
CECILE
Thank you.
Cecile opens the office. She rushes to the desk, looking for
something. She goes down to look in the drawer. Cecile finds
a box.
CECILE
Where did I last hid the freaking
key?!
Cecile found the key in her purse.
CECILE (CONT'D)
I have to go somewhere private.
Cecile took the box and headed to her car.
She then used the key she found in her mom's office to open
the black box. She opens the black box. She then reads the
file inside it.
She is in shock.

arrested in the tv.

CAMILLE
You'll pay...
Camille slams the door loudly. He then starts to scream,

his fists for a few moments and he throws things everywhere
creating a huge mess.

INT. CECILE'S ROOM

Camille sat on Cecile's bed while crying.
She was stuck at Cecile's vanity/working table and she went
there. He saw the less-than-closed drawer. He opened it and
saw a black box and strange files.
He laid it on the table and quickly set aside the papers that
had been placed on it. Out of curiosity, he listened and
tried to find out what they were.
Camille figured out that it has something to do with his
father so he hurriedly took his father's phone that he kept.
When the phone opened, the information about the father's
debt came out.
2.

He looked so further until he understood what was going on

and read something that completely caught his attention.
CAMILLE
What a coincidence, his debt's due
date is also Cecile's date of
death.
He kept overthinking stuff regarding of what he is finding
out.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
Are these interconnected? A
coincidence? Naguguluhan ako.

Camille clutched his head, confused.

Suddenly someone called his dad's cell phone and let him off
the table for a moment and he answered it.

EXT. CEMETERY - AFTERNOON

The funeral of Cecile Hayden Batumbakal is gloomy and quiet.

Everybody is dressed in black, some even formal tuxedos and
dresses.
Camille stands nearest to the grave of his sister, nearer to
the grave than to the guests. Dressed in the most formal suit
in the funeral, holding an umbrella even when there is no
rain and mourning the death of his sister, devoid of any
sobbing and ugly tears, devoid of any emotions but silence
and sadness.

In the crowd a man, a handsome man, walks slowly to the

front excusing himself from everybody else as they are
leaving to reach Camille.
The man approaches Camille and speaks to him.
MAN
My deepest condolences to your
sister, Camille. I have known your
sister for years, she was the
brightest one I know. Too bad she
died too early.
Camille does not listen to the man and is instead just
silently looking at the grave of his sister.
MAN (CONT'D)
(Smiling)
Let me tell you something about
her. She held secrets she was told
to the grave.
The man puts his hand around the shoulder of Camille.
MAN (CONT'D)
That was really commendable of her.
She might've been the best at that.
Camille turns around to face the hand of the man. He sees a
butterfly tattoo.
MAN (CONT'D)
I need to go now, brother of
Cecile.
The man moves his hand away from Camille and initiates a
handshaking pose. Camille shakes the hand of the man.
Camille watches the man as he leaves the funeral. Camille
ponders as the man leaves.
Camille closes his umbrella and walks away from the grave,
looking like he remembered something.

Camille sees a mysterious black box on the porch of the
Batumbakal house. He picks it up to bring it inside.

He sees that it's almost an identical replica of the one that
his sister recieved. He also sees that this too has a logo.
One he have spotted years ago, but more frequently recently.
The mysterious black box has a butterfly logo on it.

He opens up the mysterious box carefully. He sees a piece of

paper inside of the box.
He grabs the piece of paper and reads that he is the intended
reciepient of the black box, not any of his neighbours or not
his late sister.
He checks the box for more and he discovers that there is a
cloth covering the bottom of the box that the paper was
resting on.
Camille removes the cloth that was in the box and it reveals
another piece of paper.

The phone rings for a few seconds.

Someone picked up the phone on the other end and proceeds to

in sir or madam?
CAMILLE
(Calm)
Is this the police department?
Camille asks politely.
POLICEPERSON
Yes sir, this is the police
department, you got the correct
number.

CAMILLE
(Calm)
Good, because I think there might
be a murder tomorrow, I don't know
what time, where it is but I think
there will be one. It will probably
be in the Batumbakal House but I
don't know when it will happen.
A long pause.
POLICEPERSON
Pardon me if I am wrong sir, but
you have come here to report a
possible murder in your home, sir?
CAMILLE
That's exactly right, Mr.
Policeperson.
A short pause.
POLICEPERSON
So you've come to report a possible
murder but you do not know when it
will happen but just that it will
happen?
CAMILLE
Indeed, that's what I am telling
you.
A short pause.
POLICEPERSON
I see, I'll see what I can do. May
I have your name sir?
5.

CAMILLE
Camille Batumbakal. Camille Hayden
Batumbakal.
POLICEPERSON
Mhm, Just like I said I'll see what
I can do about it.
The policeperson hangs up the phone.

INT. HOUSE - CAMILLE'S ROOM - NIGHT

Camille's room is now cleaner than it was the day before.
Camille is doodling on his notebook, waiting for the person
who sent him the mysterious black box.
He doodles among us, a parabola and the trajectory of an
arrow.
A few minutes pass until he hears the door to the house being
opened. He now stops doodling and puts on his gloves.
A few seconds pass and the mysterious person now is walking
to Camille's room.
The footsteps stop suddenly when the person is near the door.
They knock on the door to Camille's room.
Camille stands up and walks to the door, He dials the police
to head to the Batumbakal house as soon as possible before
putting his phone under his blanket and deciding to open the
door.
The person is pointing a gun at Camille. Camille notices that
the person is female.
WOMAN
Any last words? The last of
Ferdinand's kin?
CAMILLE
I only have one last word. And
It's--

WOMAN
You better say it before I kill
you.
The woman interrupts.
CAMILLE
(Scary and Surprising)
BOO!!
Camille shouts at the woman, to which the woman responded by
shooting Camille's right foot.
6.

WOMAN
Out of everybody I have killed, you
might be the dumbest one.
Camille crawls to the outside of the door as his right foot
was blown off.
WOMAN (CONT'D)
You're like a worm.
The woman says before shooting Camille's remaining left foot.
Camille shrivels up in pain and his face grimaces into a
pained expression.
IRENE
It has been nice playing with you.
My nephew.

Camille lays in his own blood, pain in his face, his feet
injured by the gunshots.
He looks at the ceiling as the police enters the building he
is in.
He whispers to himself:
CAMILLE
(Solemnly)
Am I really gonna die? Really?
He chuckles.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
Ahhh, my feet does not hurt. Haha,
remembering her whilst being in
this state makes me look pathetic.
I wouldn't dare look her in the
eye.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
(Calm)
If I really am going to die. I want
to end up where ever she is right
now.
He puts his gloves on top of his heart, puts his hand on his

signs.
CAMILLE
I am fine. How long has it been
since I was here?
NURSE
Not too long.
The nurse then finishes checking up on him and proceeds to
exit.
NURSE (CONT'D)
Now I must be on my way now, sir.
She now exits carrying the medical equipmenet she brought.
Camille picks up his phone that has been ringing since the
nurse exited. He unlocks his phone and sees that the caller
is an unknown number.
He contemplates whether he should answer this call as he
thinks it might be a scammer. As he is contemplating, he
answered the call.
The call is silent for a few moments before the caller
speaks. Camille hears that the caller's voice is feminine,
Camille thinks who this caller might be, as he recalls his
memories to remember any woman who might have known his
number.
ANONYMOUS CALLER
Hello Camille.
Camille ponders for a moment to think about who that voice
might belong, until it clicked in his mind. The caller is his
auntie, the kartel leader.
The caller is waiting for any response from Camille without
confirming that Camille is there.
AUNTIE
I am sure you already know who I am
by now. Let's proceed to what I
have to say.
CAMILLE
What do you want?
He answers in a serious yet unconcerned voice.
4.

AUNTIE

INT. HOUSE - DINING ROOM - NIGHT

A clean and grand dining area, almost majestic. It is dinner-
time.
Camille is sitting at the head of the table, with an elegant
handkerchief on his chest to serve as a bib.
CAMILLE'S POV:
Whilst the family is eating, Camille's father, Ferdinand
stands up to answer a call. Camille's mother, Joana is angry
at Ferdinand and starts an argument.

Camille ignores the commotion and continues to savour his

dinner.
Ferdinand annoyed at Joana proceeds to grab a knife to murder
her in front of Camille.
Camille, visibly annoyed cleanses his palate with water. He
picks up his plate and heads to the kitchen to pick up a
knife and to place the plate into the washing area.
FERDINAND
Oh, shit.
CAMILLE
(shouting angrily)
That's all you have to say!
FERDINAND
(shouts back)
What do you want me to say?
FERDINAND (CONT'D)
(sarcastically)
Oh, my honeybunch sugar plum.
5.

CAMILLE
(crying and shouts)
I can't believe you're my father.
And with that, he snatched the knife that his father used to
murder his mom and stabbed him with it.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
Go to hell, exactly where you
belong.
He twisted the knife and pulled it out his father's body. But
the nightmare was far from over. As Camille came to grips
with what he had just done, the weight of his actions hit him
like a ton of bricks. He had just killed his own father. The
guilt and regret were too much to bear.
CAMILLE (CONT'D)
(Trembling, tears
streaming down his face)
I... I couldn't let it go on. I had
to stop him.
Camille's father's last words echoed in his head like a
haunting melody, a constant reminder of the terrible deed he
had just committed. The memory of that fateful night would
haunt him forever.
