QUAIL’S LIVESTOCK
(LEARNING DISABILITES)
1.1INTRODUCTION
Livestock sector is one of the agriculture’s sectors besides planting basic foods,
fruits, aquacultures and fisheries. Generally, all of these sectors are listing in order to
help Malaysia’s economy growth after independence.
This drastic change makes Malaysia as one of the main halal foods producer in
the world. So, these will ensure the food securities in the country, allowing more food
producers based on livestock to maximize their producing. In accordance, there are
entrepreneurs who run the business in order to improve their skills and living style.
Livestock sector is not only focusing on farmers. Anyone can join this sector
including disable peoples. Based on that, the management of SK LKTP Keratong 1
planned quail’s livestock program in school for special education students. These will
improve student’s independent skill when they grow up. Also, it will contribute to our
country’s development.
1.2 AIM
Livestock sector is not just a happy and fun hobby. Thus, it has to be realized in
order to make it a wealthy sector for entrepreneurs. We can get many profits from this
sector. From these facts, we choose this sector as our program to do. Based on
entrepreneurs’ experiences there are high potentials to improve living style. Hence, we
can have our own business.
Students need to have basic knowledge if they want to join this sector. Without
basic knowledge, they will fall down in this sector, having huge amount of loss. This can
be very bad for them and they should avoid it.
Students will learn from basic of livestock until selling. Starting from quail’s
hatching, quails’ caring, egg’s collecting and quail’s selling. Students will be
experiencing entrepreneurship style from beginning. These will help them when they
grow up.
I.3 OBJECTIVES
I. Students can have their own experiences in livestock sector.
II. Gain more knowledge how to take care their livestock.
III. Build their knowledge on business and entrepreneurship.
IV. Produce their own quail’s livestock for saving cost.
V. Get to sell quails to villagers.
VI. Contribute quail’s eggs for hatching and caring to Keratong Community
Centre and special education school near to our school.
