ME ARTY. En hommage aux nanas ondoyantes de l’artiste Niki de
Saint Phalle, ce patron va vous permettre de réaliser de multiples
pièces : un top fabuleux en jacquard comme en tencel qui
donnera une allure couture à votre jean favori, une jolie robe
trapèze facile à coudre et à porter, et une seconde robe
patineuse avec une belle jupe qui virevolte sublime dans un tissu
fluide et léger que vous aurez la possibilité de ceinturer (ou pas)
pour souligner la taille.
Niveau de couture : intermédiaire
Taille: 34 au 56, pour une stature de 1m65.
Les marges de coutures sont incluses et sont de 1cm.
Choix du tissu:
- robe trapèze et la blouse: un tissu lourd: un jacquard ou un lainage
léger; ou un tissu plus souple comme du crêpe ou un tencel.

because at Maison Fauve we aren’t conventional girls… here is NIKI the
beautiful dress from the SEW ME ARTY collection. In homage to the
undulating chicks of the artist Niki de Saint Phalle, this pattern will allow you
to make multiple pieces: a top as fabulous in jacquard as in tencel which
will give a couture look to your favourite jeans, a pretty A line dress easy to
sew and to wear, and a second skater dress with a beautiful skirt that twirls
gorgeously in a fluid and light fabric that you will have the option of belting
(or not) to emphasize the waist.

2/SKATER SKIRT DRESS VERSION

Pour se faire vous pouvez utiliser un retourne
biais, ou encore la technique de la paille et de la
baguette : insérez la paille dans le lien, et mettez
en regard la baguette en la coinçant un peu dans
la paille. Faites glisser votre tissu le long de la
paille comme un gant qu’on retourne...tadam !
Dress belt ties : prepare your ties by folding

 Ourlet :
- Pour la version robe patineuse: faire un ourlet sur une forme
arrondie est un peu délicat. Cette robe se cousant dans des
tissus plutôt fluides et légers je privilégie les ourlets mouchoirs.
Rabattez une première fois sur 1 cm le bas de votre jupe et
repassez bien sur tout le long pour marquer le pli. Cousez.
Recommencez à rabattre en vous aidant de cette première
couture et repassez au fur et à mesure. Cousez. La belle NIKI
version robe patineuse peut se porter nouée devant, nouée
dans le dos, et même en version plus loose sans lien. Elle sera
toujours aussi belle, et le beau mouvement de la jupe
marquera chacun de vos pas !
- Pour la version blouse ou robe trapèze:surfilez le bas de
votre vêtement, puis réalisez un ourlet invisible (vous pouvez
faire un ourlet classique mais ce serait moins joli sur des tissus
un peu lourd). HUMMMM voici une petite pièce couture qui
fera tout le peps de votre tenue !Bravo, vous avez terminé !

Hem:
- for the skater skirt: hemming on a rounded shape is a bit tricky. This
dress is sewn in rather fluid and light fabrics so I prefer the handkerchief
hem. Fold down the bottom of your skirt for a first 1 cm and iron well all
along to mark the fold. Sew. Start folding again using this first seam and
iron as you go. Sew.
- for the, trapeze dress or blouse: All you have left to do is sew the hem
of the bottom of your blouse / dress: overcast the bottom of your
garment, then make an invisible hem (you can make a classic hem but it
won’t be as nice on slightly heavier fabrics).
