PRE LESSON

1. Pupils are shown some animal flashcards to recall

the animals learnt previously. (MI: VISUAL SPATIAL)
2. Pupils say aloud the animals shown by the teacher
and the teacher reveals the name of the animal.
WHILE LESSON

3. Teacher introduces the prepositions to the pupils using a

youtube video and PowerPoint slide.
4. Pupils are called out randomly and given a stationary.
5. Teacher gives some simple instructions to the pupils on
prepositions.
6. Pupils listen to the teacher’s instruction and place the
stationary given to them correctly.(MI: KINAESTHETIC)

7. Pupils are rewarded for every correct action/answer.

POST LESSON

8. Pupils are given a worksheet according to their

proficiency level. (ORAL AND WRITTEN ASSESSMENT)
9. Teacher conducts a listening activity by reading aloud
the sentences given.
10. S1 pupils: listen and circle the responses (with symbols)
based on the pictures given.
S2 pupils: listen and circle the responses (without
symbols) based on the pictures given.
S3 pupils: listen and write the responses based on the
pictures given.
