I have done teaching practice in elementary schools. I gained a lot of experience.

I have some difficulties when practicing. The difficulty is that the absence of an internet network
makes it impossible for me to play music to support learning activities. In addition, I teach
students who do not learn English in primary school. Based on the students' background
knowledge and the difficulties I faced, I finally decided to teach not according to the lesson plan
that had been made. I changed two activities in my lesson plan five minutes before class started.

At first, they weren't excited because they weren't used to learning English. In my perspective,
some of them feel demotivated because there is one friend who can answer my questions
smoothly and correctly. However, after I explained the material, they began to dare to answer.
Then, when they continued their activities, they were more excited because they started to
understand the material presented and how to play it. They participate actively in learning
activities. Overall, they can learn well.

There are several things that I have to prepare before becoming the future elementary school
teacher. The first one is that I should use a variety of skills to ensure my students have a
successful learning experience, such as knowledge of teaching methods, patience, interpersonal
skills (emphaty) to resolve conflict, communication skills. The last is I have to flexibility, which
means I should use flexibility to respond to my students' needs and adapt or adopt the lesson
plan.
