HOSPITAL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM – PATIENT PERSPECTIVE
1. A short description of our system.
The Hospital Information Management System - Patient Perspective is a digital platform
designed to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare services from the patient's
point of view. This system aims to enable patients to manage their medical records,
schedule appointments, access their lab results, and receive real-time updates about their
treatment progress. It also allows doctors and medical staff to monitor and manage patient
care, communication, and provide personalized care plans. The system is designed to
improve patient experience and outcomes, reduce errors and duplication, and optimize
resource utilization in healthcare facilities.

2. Core functions of the business operations of our system and their activities.
The core activities/components of the Hospital Information Management System - Patient
Perspective are:

• Patient Registration and Medical Records Management:


- Capture and store patient demographics, insurance details and medical history.
- Generate unique patient identification numbers.
- Enable easy retrieval and update of patient records.

• Appointment Scheduling and Management:


- Allow patients to book appointments with their preferred doctors or medical staff.
- Provide real-time updates on appointment status and wait times.
- Enable doctors to reschedule appointments and send reminders.

• Billing and Insurance Management:


- Generate bills and invoices for patients based on services provided.
- Allow patients to make online payments.
- Integrate with insurance providers to verify the insurances.
