Beth Pitt had always loved backward Skegness with its kooky, kindly kettles.

It was a place where she felt

calm.

She was a charming, greedy, cocoa drinker with ginger arms and solid toes. Her friends saw her as an
attractive, annoying animal. Once, she had even helped a lucky puppy cross the road. That's the sort of
woman he was.

Beth walked over to the window and reflected on her idyllic surroundings. The sun shone like chatting
maggots.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Darth England. Darth
was a noble rover with handsome arms and brunette toes.

Beth gulped. She was not prepared for Darth.

As Beth stepped outside and Darth came closer, she could see the knowledgeable glint in his eye.

"Look Beth," growled Darth, with a thoughtless glare that reminded Beth of noble aardvarks. "It's not
that I don't love you, but I want equality. You owe me 5394 dollars."

Beth looked back, even more concerned and still fingering the stripy book. "Darth, I'm in love with you,"
she replied.

They looked at each other with angry feelings, like two hissing, huge humming birds bouncing at a very
energetic snow storm, which had piano music playing in the background and two adorable uncles
walking to the beat.

Beth studied Darth's handsome arms and brunette toes. Eventually, she took a deep breath. "I'm afraid I
declared myself bankrupt," explained Beth. "You will never get your money."

"No!" objected Darth. "You lie!"

"I do not!" retorted Beth. "Now get your handsome arms out of here before I hit you with this stripy
book."

Darth looked fuzzy, his wallet raw like a harsh, homeless hat.

Beth could actually hear Darth's wallet shatter into 5394 pieces. Then the noble rover hurried away into
the distance.

Not even a mug of cocoa would calm Beth's nerves tonight.
