From the beginning of the Interactive Oral, the Global Issue was successfully communicated
and most importantly was referred back to throughout the entire oral – for both texts. In
addition to this, the transitional statements between the two works were smooth and
provided a brief comparison of the two works. Similarly, the transitions between the body of
work to the specific extracts were smooth – as a listener I understood when she was moving
from one part of the oral to the other, signaling an effective structure. Furthermore, her
examples picked were related to her Global Issue and were analyzed effectively always.
Overall, the IO was communicated in a way where it was easy to follow and understand.
