    Note that these files require the newest SIMPUT (2.5.0) and SIXTE (2.7.0) versions to run.

    To use the files, simply unpack it like the X-IFU instrument files on the web (instructions at
    https://www.sternwarte.uni-erlangen.de/research/sixte/simulation.php).

    To run simulations in xifupipeline, users will have to specify two XML files via the parame-
    ters XMLFile and AdvXml. The available files are:

    XMLFile:- xifu_baseline.xml (In-focus file with 5” PSF, newest (v3.1) PSF and vignetting)
    xifu_baseline_filter.xml (Same as above, with 100um Be Filter ARF)
    xifu_baseline_degr10.xml (In-focus file with degraded, 10” PSF, newest (v3.1) PSF and vi-
    gnetting) xifu_baseline_filter_degr10.xml (Same as above, with 100um Be Filter ARF)
    xifu_baseline_35mm.xml (35mm defocusing, with newest (v3.1) PSF)-
    xifu_baseline_filter_35mm.xml (Same as a bove, with 100um Be Filter ARF)
