Co-Gen Turbine Modifications

 Document submitted by BHEL and approved as under.

a. HMBD’s, P&ID, QCNRV data sheet & GA drawing, Safety valve data sheet & GA drawing,
Spray water pressure control valve data sheet document submitted and KSL given approval.

 QCNRV delivery will be in the month of October -2021.

 Safety valve delivery will be in the month of December-2021.

 BHEL Sr.Manager Mr.Bhagwat Singh visited KSL site on 18.08.2021 for study of existing support
details of 3 ata LP header line and to finalize new 5.5 ata LP header pipe routing with the
following modification of existing system.

a. 9 ata PSV (pressure safety valve) outlet line route modification.

b. 1” 3 ata drain line route modification.
c. HP-2 line route modification.
d. Existing 3 ata PSV are to be placed on boiler area.
e. New 5.5 ata PSV are to be placed at exiting PSV location.

 BHEL submitted new 5.5 ata LP header pipe line routing drawing on 23.08.21. KSL will issue
approval on 23.08.21.
 Based on BHEL Engineer site study, piping bill of material will be submitted by BHEL on
28.08.2021.

 Process Steam 5.5 ata pipeline (single) from Co-gen to Distillery Supply, Fabrication and Erection
– Proposal sent to HO for finalization.

 Electrical System arrangements for 120 KLPD – HT Breakers and Transformer installation –
U/CST

 Second line QCNRV, De-superheater, Flow element and accessories enquiry sent BHEL – BHEL
will submit offer on 23.08.2021.
