PROGRAMMING SKILL TEST - APPOINTMENT TO THE POST OF SENIOR

COMPUTER PROGRAMMERS ON CONTRACT BASIS IN

THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. The candidates are directed to abide by the reporting time as mentioned in the Schedule.
The candidates shall report at the Banquet Hall, 2nd floor, High Court of Kerala,
before the Reporting time mentioned in the schedule and produce original Photo ID
proof for verification. No candidate shall be admitted beyond half an hour after the
reporting time (i.e 9.30 AM for first batch and 1.00 PM for the Second batch), under
any circumstances.
2. No call letter will be issued through post.
3. The candidates must carry only the following items :
1. The copy of e-mail received from the High Court regarding the schedule of the
skill test either as soft copy or hard copy.
2. An original valid ID card bearing photograph, for verification (Aadhaar/ Driving
Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport).
3. The candidate should also bring a self-attested copy of the original ID proof
mentioned in (2).
4. Pen/pencil.
Papers for rough work will be provided by the High Court.
4. The skill Test comprises of a programming assignment through an online platform
comprising of one question each in 2 platforms – PHP and REACT. The candidate
need to attend only one question, in the platform of their choice.
5. Candidates are prohibited from bringing into the examination hall any book, or portion
of any book, manuscript, paper, or any electronic equipment, such as calculator, mobile
phone, smartwatches, Bluetooth enabled devices and wireless set etc. and from
communicating with any person inside or outside the examination hall. Violation of this
instruction, or indulging in any unfair practices may entail suspension of the candidate
from the test.
6. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/ Hall before the end of
the examination.
7. Only those candidates who come out successfully in the skill test shall be called for
Interview.
8. No T.A. or D.A. will be paid from the High Court in this behalf.
9. Your candidature is PROVISIONAL. The fact that you have been called for Skill Test
does not confer any right to be treated as eligible for appointment or to be considered
for the post of Sr. Computer Programmer. You must therefore ensure that you fulfil all
the conditions of eligibility including the Essential Experience and Qualifications as
laid down in the Notification as on 10.02.2023. If at any stage it is found that you do
 not fulfil any of the conditions of eligibility, your candidature will be cancelled and no
appeal against such cancellation will be entertained.
10. In case you fail to attend the Skill Test on the Scheduled date and time, it will be
presumed that you are not interested in the post and your candidature will be treated as
“CANCELLED”. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
11. If the Skill Test Date happens to be a holiday due to any unforeseen circumstances, the
Skill Test will be rescheduled and new date will be communicated via e-mail.
