Family Wellness Center Inc was more than just an institution that helps addicts like me to recover. It is a
place where I found to be my second home. I say this because I find it very important for me to have a
touch base with them every once in a while not because it was a requirement, but out of love and
gratitude for those who have helped me.

FWC is also a place where the staff are friendly, charming and most of all brutally honest with me if I am
not doing well in using the tools that they gave me. Realizing that their gentle rebuke was a way for me
to look at my own shortcomings rather than putting on the blame on people, places, and things.

They also helped my family in better understanding my condition and restoring my relationship with
them. Through family education and multifamily therapy, we were able to share our thoughts and
feelings freely while having a simple objective in mind; that all of us would want to get better.
