The researchers collected data directly from the ARBs themselves through in-depth house-to-house
interviews and the administration of survey questionnaires. These questionnaires were thoughtfully
designed to uncover the challenges faced by ARBs in the process of registering their CLOA and EP Titles.
The survey questionnaire employed a Rating Scale consisting of nine item statements, each rated on a
scale from 5 to 1. The ratings were accompanied by verbal descriptions: 5 – Strongly Agree, 4 – Agree, 3
– Moderately Agree, 2 – Disagree, and 1 – Strongly Disagree. Notably, this rating scale was adapted from
previous research conducted by Ms. Alexia Consimino and Mr. Cyrus Francisco. Subsequently, the
ratings were aggregated to compute the weighted mean, providing a quantified assessment of the
challenges faced by CLOA/EP Title Holders.
