LEARNING OBJECTIVE: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to plan, draft and write at least one
simple sentence for each picture.
PRE-LESSON: Teacher writes a day (eg: Sundays) and mimes an action.
Pupils construct a sentence orally. (eg: On Sundays I go swimming.)
Pupils talk about the pictures in sentence construction exercise 3.
Teacher gives input on On + days + he/she + verb. He/she + verb + where.
LESSON DELIVERY:
He/she + verb + what (eg: On Fridays she rides her bike. She rides her bike in
the park in the evening. She enjoys riding her bike.)
Pupils circle and write words/phrases next to the picture.
