CHORD PROGRESSIONS
4 “Based on Cmajor
These are chord progressions. There is no notated music. Instead, you
choose the style and improvise (see glossary of musical terms) the music over the
top. The chords are played within bars, and sometimes are repeated (using this
sign :||). For these exercises, choose a different praise or worship style to use
(this includes using the time signature that the style uses). Also, try and apply
some riffs or techniques and be encouraged to add extra notes to the chord even
if it doesn't say so. If you do not understand how to play these chord
progressions, use the ‘Rudiments of Musical Worship’ section pages5-8 , or the
“Glossary of Musical Terms,’ pg 66 to find out more.
