User Manual
Before Using the Security Application Program
When you plug in your device to a USB port, your operating system would
then recognize the device and show Removable Disk and its icon under
My Computer. The security application program, i.e. Mykey ( including
Mykey.exe & Mykey User Manual.pdf.) can be found in the USB drive.

Before you can use Removable Disk partition freely, you will need to login
Mykey and enter the password first. Otherwise you will not be able to
access the drive, and you cannot read or write data to this partition. The
default password is compucessory. You can also reset password
immediately or choose to remove the password and then you can have free
access to the USB flash drive.
Note: the support system, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10.

Introduction of the Security Application Program

1. Login in
Step 1: Click to run the security application program Mykey, and you will
see the main interface as below:

Step 2: Click “Login”, enter the default password compucessory and


then click “OK”.
Step3: Then you will be able to access the removable disk and use it freely.

2. Change password
Step1: Click Mykey to enter the main interface, and then click “Login”.

Step 2: When coming to the login window, click “Change”.


Step 3: Enter the old password and new password separately and click “OK”,
your password can be changed successfully then.

3. Delete the password: (note: please be sure to backup in


advance good Mydey and user manual)

Step 1: click Mykey into the main interface, click the "format".
Step 2: Click “start”, and then “Yes” to format. Please note when you press
“yes”, all the data and setting will also be formatted and erased.

Step 3: Enter the original password and click "OK". Then the password will
be disabled.
4. Set Password
Step 1: As you run the Security application program Mykey, you will
see below main interface

Step 2: click on the "format", and then select "start". You can also move the
scroll bar to partition your disk size.
Step3:Select “Enable password protection”to set up password.You can
choose a password from 1 character to a maximum of 16 characters.

Step 4:Press “ Start"to format,and then click “ OK ” .Re-plug your usb flash
drives,password is successfully set up.Please note that when you press
“OK”,all the data and setting will be formatted and erased.
