ABOUT
We often wonder why we are
different from our parents,
grandparents, uncles and aunts
.
This happens because we
belong to different generations,
today we will talk about two of
them, the baby boomers and
the Z generation.

new reality"

BABY BOOMERS Today, we may believe that, because of

their age, Baby Boomers will only use
traditional channels; however, this
generation has quickly adapted to
technology and has learned to use
tablets, smartphones and other
electronic devices. We are also clear
that technological evolution must be
socialized by the people who make up
each era, which also seeks to
incorporate new ways of working and
interacting in their daily lives,
something that would be an easy task
for Generation Z -who were born in the
digital age- but that means a greater
challenge for the Baby Boomers (born
between 1946 and 1964).

Taking into account that they are

characterized by being committed,
self-sufficient and competitive as a
generation that was formed to lead
groups and identify their own role as
individuals adapting to a new reality.

Generation Z is the most likely to

adopt a hybrid approach, shopping in-
store and online (36%). Meanwhile,
only 18% of Boomers opted for a hybrid
approach to their shopping needs.

Baby Boomers prefer more traditional

forms of communication, such as
phone calls or face-to-face
interactions. In contrast, Generation Z
uses digital communication methods,
such as text messaging or video calls.

Generation Z actively participates in

social networks, where they share
their lives, communicate and
consume information online.
Although some Baby Boomers have
adopted social networks, their use
tends to be more limited, plus they
tend to rely on traditional media.
