Presentation
Hi,
My name is Deus KALETA, CEO of CIMUKU SARL.
As CEO of CIMUKU SARL, I and my 20-young team members are
working to set up a waste collection and processing system, in
order to clean up our environment and provide jobs for over 2,000
young people within the next 5 years.

In the DRC, the lack of an organized waste management system

is at the root many problems, including diseases such as malaria,
typhoid fever and cholera, increases household poverty.
Our Background
Started with a prototype in the neighborhood in 2017 on Mbujimayi town,
the installed waste management system helped us to clean up the
environment for 4 years (in 2020) and also create permanent employment
for 20 young people while paying state taxes with 15.000$ of Turnover.

With a view to transforming the waste collected into finished products such
as ecologically sustainable building materials and cattle feed, our objectives
are to:
 Create jobs for 2,000 young people within 5 years;
 Increase our sales (500.000$ per year) in order to cover the whole of DRC.
Major Challenges
The major challenges at present are:

 Difficult access to the bank credit in my environment

due to the lack of real estate considering in mortgaging
;
 Difficult access to a collaborative partnership with the
Congolese government, in order to secure our system.
