Journal Name Machine Learning

Research Objectives The purpose of this research is
to review several journals
related to machine learning.

Research Methods 1. Decision Tree

2. Naive Bayes
3. AdaBoost Clasifier
4. k-Nearest Neighbor

Theoretical Framework 1. Statistics: Understanding

concepts of statistics, such
as probability distribution,
statistical inference, and
other concepts, assists in
data modeling and
analysis.
2. Linear Algebra: Linear
algebra is necessary to
comprehend matrix
operations, often used in
machine learning,
particularly in methods like
linear regression, matrix
decomposition, and factor
analysis.
3. Calculus: Concepts of
calculus, such as
derivatives and integrals,
are required in the
optimization of machine
learning algorithms, such
as stochastic gradient
descent (SGD).
4. Probability Theory:
Probability theory serves
as the foundation for many
machine learning methods,
particularly in the context
of statistical learning and
Bayesian learning. This
includes concepts like
probability distribution,
conditional probability,
and parameter estimation.
5. Information Theory:
Information theory aids in
understanding how data is
compressed and how
information within data is
measured. It is useful in
modeling and feature
selection.
6. Optimization:
Understanding
optimization algorithms,
such as stochastic gradient
descent (SGD), genetic
algorithms, and other
optimization algorithms, is
crucial in the training
process of models.
7. Control Theory: Control
theory can be applied to
reinforcement learning
problems and in the
development of intelligent
agents.
8. Graph Theory: Graph
theory is used in machine
learning, particularly in
pattern recognition and
modeling structured data
like social networks,
knowledge graphs, and
others.
9. Learning Theory: The
theoretical foundation
related to human learning
and cognitive psychology
can provide insights into
how machine learning can
be optimized to
understand how humans
process information.

Research Results 1. Image Recognition:

Research in image
recognition has resulted in
machine learning models
that can identify objects in
images with high accuracy.
For example, Convolutional
Neural Networks (CNN)
models have achieved
outstanding results in
recognizing objects in
images.
2. Machine Translation:
Research in machine
translation using machine
learning algorithms, such
as sequence-to-sequence
models, has enabled the
development of more
accurate automatic
translation systems that
can translate text from one
language to another.
3. Sentiment Analysis:
Research in sentiment
analysis has produced
machine learning models
capable of analyzing and
classifying text based on
sentiment, such as
identifying whether a
review is positive,
negative, or neutral.
4. Autonomous Vehicles:
Research in autonomous
vehicles has led to
significant developments in
transportation automation.
Autonomous cars can
recognize their
environment, make
decisions, and drive
without human
intervention.
5. Speech Recognition:
Research in speech
recognition has resulted in
intelligent voice assistants
like Siri, Google Assistant,
and Alexa, capable of
understanding and
responding to human voice
commands.
6. Medical Diagnostics:
Machine learning has been
used to detect diseases, for
example, through the
analysis of medical images,
pattern recognition of
genetics, and clinical data,
which can aid in early
diagnosis and more
effective treatment.
7. Product
Recommendations:
Research in product
recommendations uses
machine learning to
analyze user behavior and
provide product
recommendations, as done
by e-commerce platforms.
8. Anomaly Detection:
Machine learning is
employed in computer
network monitoring to
detect unusual activities or
potential cyberattacks.

Conclusion Machine Learning, or

Pembelajaran Mesin in
Indonesian, is a technique within
Artificial Intelligence (AI) used to
mimic and, in some cases,
replace human roles in
performing tasks and solving
problems. In essence, Machine
Learning refers to machines
designed to learn and perform
tasks without direct user
instructions. The application of
machine learning approaches in
the systematic review of
complex research fields, such as
quality improvement, can aid in
the process of filtering titles and
abstract inclusions. Machine
learning approaches have gained
special attention given the ever-
increasing search outputs and
accessibility to existing evidence,
posing particular challenges in
improving the quality of
research fields. Improved
reviewer agreement appears to
be associated with enhanced
predictive performance.
