the audit process in the management of property, plant and equipment of the Montserrat
Clinic.

Overall Objective
Our overall objective is to assess the reasonableness of the property, plant and equipment
(PPE) balances on the balance sheet of Clinica Montserrat as of December 31, 2022, in
accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Specific Objectives
1. Verify the existence, application and efficiency of a policy for the management of
property, plant and equipment.
2. Verify that the supports of the property, plant and equipment are in order and in
accordance with the legal provisions.
3.Observe if the movements in the fixed assets accounts are properly recorded.
4.Review that there is a complete control system of fixed assets, updated and adequate to the
conditions of the company.
5.Verify that modifications to property, plant and equipment are properly authorized.
6.Verify that fixed assets are adequately insured.

Scope:
 Review of PPE Assets: Verify the physical existence of PPE assets, such as medical
equipment, furniture and property, and ensure that they are properly recorded in the
accounting books.
 Valuation: Assess whether PPE assets are valued in accordance with applicable
accounting policies, including review of acquisition costs, accumulated depreciation
and possible revaluations.
 Depreciation: Review the depreciation method and rates used to calculate
depreciation of PPE assets and determine whether they are appropriate and consistent.
 Reconciliation: Perform a reconciliation of PPE balances in the accounting records to
physically existing assets, identifying any significant discrepancies.
 Disclosures: Verify that required disclosures related to PPE assets are adequately
presented in the financial statements.

Audit team
Our team of auditors and advisors has the necessary experience and training to conduct the
audit of the property, plant and equipment (PPE) balances on the Clinic's balance sheet. Each
member of the team will bring their expertise to ensure the success of this project.
