 The Work Health and Safety Act 2011: To protect the health and safety of
workers, volunteers, non-management workers, trainees and contractors, the
Occupational Health and Safety Act 2011 was passed. It aims to protect
employees from anything that may endanger their safety, welfare or health. It
also aims to provide workers with efficient and fair working conditions.

 EEO Act: It works to improve the workplace in order to lessen employees'


negative attitudes and feelings of isolation at work, while also aiming to end
employment discrimination. Additionally, it calls for acknowledging and
respecting the various cultural and social backgrounds of all workers and
customers. If you work with coworkers who are not Australians, for instance,
you must respect and treat them equally in accordance with the EEO Act.

you to practice analyzing the differences between
your own and other people's backgrounds. The ideas
and viewpoints resulting from this study can be used
to generate other ideas for future reference.

information that can assist you in addressing and resolving your issue. You can
try specific websites, or even colleagues and interested parties who you can
trust. This information will also serve as the foundation for data that will be
gathered when identifying challenges and difficulties in your business.
 Analysis of Information: Before using any data in practice, it is essential to
critically examine and evaluate each piece of information you acquire to
determine its relevance and reliability.
 Open-mindedness in coming up with ideas: Try to practice not reacting
negatively when you hear an idea or opinion that differs from your own. Being
open-minded includes respecting and being open to new points of view, which
helps to avoid biases and preferences when developing new ideas or devising
new methods.

 Yes, since listening to various points of view on an issue will allow us to arrive
at a bigger and better solution, since developing solutions that are based on the

work, continuous communication and collaboration.

6. When coming up with solutions to workplace issues, it is important to consider the


boundaries first. Briefly describe three (3) examples of these boundaries.

 Available resources for a project in the workplace: Consider the availability


of the resources you intend to use in your solution, such as funding, expertise
and time, when considering this hurdle. Doing so will help you ensure that your
ideas are viable and will also help you choose the best solution.
 Established traditions or practices: When working on a project, an
established tradition or practice can provide the team with an effective and
systematic means of generating ideas because it allows team members to
follow a routine without becoming confused. This means that the tradition or
practice should be in line with how the organization expects ideas to be
generated.
 Specifications: Because they determine what concepts will look like and
where they can go, the parameters of a project can control the flow of ideas.
Project specifications should be considered because they help employees
determine the message they must convey, help them understand the problem
they must solve, and guide them on the requirements and conditions they must
meet.
