Introduction

This vocabulary worksheet will help you improve and expand your vocabulary.
Using this format to practice daily will not only give you a better understanding of
the words, their synonyms and usage, but by becoming more familiar with the
cornucopia of words the English language contains will allow you to improve both
your reading comprehension and your writing - as well as helping you ace any
vocabulary questions on the selective entry test!

To use the worksheet, simply look up the definition of the word if you don’t know
it, think of several synonyms for it, and then write an example sentence that
contains that word.

When you’ve completed the 200 words on this worksheet, you don’t have to stop
there – best practice is to write down any new words you come across in your
reading and daily life and do the same.

If you perform this practice regularly, you’ll be well on your way to improving your
vocabulary!

Good luck!
