Goal: Your goal is to perform a fitness exercise including warm-up, cool-down, and role-playing to
address concerns regarding decision-making skills in managing sexuality-related issues.

Role: Performer/Dancer

Audience: Students/Teachers/Coordinator/EPS

Situation: The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and The Department of Education are working
together to enhance the optimum holistic of the students and effectively address their needs for health
and protection through wellness education. In order for students to become physically healthy, the
Department of Education mandates that schools develop a program, such as physical activity, to
address students' physical and health needs. The Gen. Pio del Pilar National High School proposed
that the students put on a display regarding physical wellbeing or fitness activities like Zumba, aerobics
dance, or wellness dance exercise. As a result, the MAPEH department, organizes a fitness challenge,
such as a “Project SHOWS” or "Fitness Fest”. These events bring together students from grade 8,
providing an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents and earn points on their MAPEH subjects
for completing various exercises and maintaining an active lifestyle inside and outside of school.

Product, Performance and Purpose: You will engage in role-playing while crafting an educational
presentation that outlines the main competencies associated to fitness through Zumba, aerobic dance,
or wellness dance exercise and how to handle sexually related difficulties by making wise judgments.

Standard/Criteria:
Your output must focus on the following standards:
 Present a physical activity like Zumba, aerobic dance, or wellness dance exercise.
 Display in the scene on how to make a good decision-making to a given situation.

STEPS/PROCEDURE/GUIDELINES:
General Guidelines:
1. The performance-based assessment consists of 100 points.
2. The performance-based assessment will last for 5-10 minutes per group.
3. Learners are not allowed to bring a piece of paper or script during the performance.
4. Each learner has a copy of the PTS or rubric.
5. The learners are allowed to video record the performance and post it in the parents' group chat
only.

Procedure:
1. The class will be divided into four groups which consist of 8 or 9 members.
2. Each group will present a scenario on how to respond well and give a wise judgement to a
certain situation and engage in a physical exercise of their own choosing, such as a Zumba,
aerobic dance workout.
3. The group’s leader will draw from a draw box a piece of paper to identify what scene they will
role-play and include to their workout.
