INTRODUCTION
Ethical issues are critical in every form of business. These help commercial organizations in
achieving their aims and goals. If business organizations are conducted ethically, they must
be able to satisfy stakeholders' expectations while still being profitable. Ethical issues of how
we treat others, use information, connect with workers, manage resources, approach
sustainability, and impact the environment around us influence how we see businesses. The
report focusses on the ethical issues facing at computer supplies Ltd and also the unfair
treatment of workers. This paper tries to examine the situation and recommend several
strategies to address it with the use of CSR theory.

TASK 2
2.3 Report on how a business can improve the ethics of their operations whilst
meeting objectives and ensuring good employer/employee relationships.
A mutually respectful and profitable connection between employer and employee is the
foundation of a good employee-employer relationship. When the work culture is right, there
is strong leadership, and workers are engaged thus, good relationships emerge. Such an
environment is created with good business ethics. Computing Supplies Ltd pays the minimum
wage, however this is insufficient. To inspire employees and make them feel appreciated, a
good compensation and other incentives might be supplied. A safe and sanitary workplace,
health benefits, job stability, and growth possibilities are all key aspects of an employer's ethical
responsibility. Promoting work-life balance, and fostering trust are all vital factors of keeping a
strong employer-employee relationship. Employees take pleasure in their company's social
commitment when it is demonstrated via corporate social responsibility. This strengthens the
link between the company and its personnel.

The basic goal of a company is to make money. Businesses strive to boost their sales in order to
generate money. There are several parties that are involved in business and have certain
expectations from it. As a result, another corporate goal is to fulfil the expectations of all
stakeholders. Computing Supplies Ltd has received negative press as a result of waste and
environmental damage. It indicates that the company that buys cheaply is equally or more
liable for the source's lack of ethical awareness. In order to maintain business ethics at
computing supplies Ltd, the following ethical considerations are mentioned below:

 Provide better product materials

 Being ethical when dealing with stakeholder/shareholders
 Fair treatment to all employees and honour everyone
 Produce/sell products that are not harmful for human/environment

 Make sure economical integrity and liability.

 Engage more in CSR activities

TASK 4
4.1 Report on a current ethical issue affecting a selected business.
Computer supplies Ltd has provided extremely strong negative press evidence of the
environmental and social consequences of computer waste creation and treating workers
unethically. Globalization has made people's lifestyles, financial underpinnings, and countries
more intertwined. As a result, the moral concern associated with optimal asset usage has
emerged. Computing Supplies Ltd has been harmed as a result of this, as the assets appear to
have been depleted. As fewer resources become available, Computing Supplies Ltd must
implement more effective techniques for performing its responsibilities in order for the
available resources to be used in a more optimal manner.

On the other side, improper waste management, air pollution, water contamination, and so on
all create moral concerns since they distort the natural order of things. This moral dilemma
has an impact on the computing supplies Ltd company since it must incorporate suitable
waste management forms. In addition, it must direct its investments toward the
implementation of equipment and systems that reduce the company's environmental impact
(McWilliams,2014).

Corruption is a political problem that covers a wide variety of concerns relating to the out-of-
control and wasteful use of assets and opportunities. Any indication of debasement and pay
within the organization causes employees to lose faith in the company. This has a negative
influence on businesses like Computing Supplies Ltd, which may lose some of its best
employees as the company deteriorates.

4.2 Assess the potential impact of changes in CSR on business performance.

Operational efficiencies can be obtained, for example, by minimizing the use of materials as
production inputs. It is also possible to decrease waste and recycle resources of the
computers. These eco-efficiency activities can provide the organization with both
environmental and economic benefits, as well as contribute to improved financial
performance and profitability.

CSR may boost a company's reputation and branding, which improves the company's chances
of being more effective in managing communications and marketing in order to attract new
consumers and grow market share. CSR, as a concept and set of tools, may assist a firm in

positioning itself in the marketplace as a more responsible and sustainable corporation than
its rivals.

Computing Supplies Ltd also intended to move part of its manufacturing processes to China
in order to reduce manufacturing costs. The main aspect that motivated the organization to
design this strategy was the desire to reduce the company's costs. However, the idea may not
be as effective as it appears because the local people will not gain from the plan owing to
local salaries and water consumption. The firm is still not focused on local employee pay,
which will have an impact on the brand's or company's image. Another issue that will
continue to plague the company is the utilization of natural resources.

Furthermore, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a hot topic right now. CSR
demonstrates a company's obligation to a wide range of stakeholders. CSR's main areas of
focus are environmental protection and worker well-being. As a result of this problem,
Computing Supplies ltd tries a variety of CSR activities, such as reducing food waste, helping
neighbourhood organizations, and being a great manager.

The Computing Supplies Ltd Group can adhere to the following guidelines in order to be an
ethical and socially responsible organization:

 The Computing Supplies ltd gathering must take into account the clients' wants and
preferences.
 Once the decision to take on more social responsibilities has been made, the
organization must focus on the evident link between what they say and what they can
do when promoting a social responsibility (Choi and Moon,2016).
 After the Computing supplies ltd group has created a CSR program, they must be
conscious and implement their plans properly, without missing the ongoing strategies
for assessing how well the activities are working.
 After the Computing supplies ltd group has created a CSR program, they must
maintain awareness and implement their plans effectively, without missing the
ongoing strategies for assessing how well the activities are working.

4.3 Recommend changes to CSR policy to benefit different stakeholders.
Shared value should be the intention of CSR. Every company should consider decisions and
opportunities from the standpoint of shared value. This will lead to new techniques that will
increase company innovation and growth while also benefiting society. As a consequence, a
shift in CSR policy would also only be effective if the company focuses on motivating
stakeholders like customers and employees, as well as conserving the environment in which it
operates (Pedersen, 2015).
