What Is WAEC Verification PIN?

The WAEC Verification Pin is a unique 19-digit or 20-digit number used to

verify or check the age (date of Birth) you used to register for the West
African Senior School Certificate Examination WASSCE May/June School
Candidate or Nov/Dec Private Candidate.

Other Uses
It is mostly used by NYSC Portal to correct or amend wrong date of birth
(provided either by your Institution or JAMB) to the date of birth you used
in WASSCE Registration.

This means that why JAMB or your institution provides NYSC with your
date of birth, there might be disagreement in your real age which can be
reconcile with the aid of WAEC VERIFICATION PIN.
