C. Establishing a purpose for the lesson The students will read the objectives of the lesson.
The students will identify each gender symbols and where they usually see those symbols.
KNOWING ONESELF
The students will be grouped into three (3) groups and they will going to answer the following guide questions flashed in the screen based on the picture
presented. Each group will be given an observation notes to write their answers.
Guide questions:

According to Science:
Integration to Science Sex -is a biological basis of being male or female.
Gender - is a social concept on how men and women should think, feel and act.
Human Sexuality - is the quality of being a male and female. It is the way in which we experience and express ourselves as sexual being.
Gender roles - refers to set of roles, characteristics and expectations of how a man and a woman should feel, think and act influenced by parents, peers
and society.
Wiith the same group, the students will create a Venn diagram and enumerate the gender roles being played by male (father, grandfather, male
siblings) and female members (mother, grandmother and female sibling) in the family.
