Instead, the display shows all zeros. 5/POWER SUPPLY The fx-95 powered by two AA size manganese dry bat- teries (ROP (SUM-3) or UM-3). The fx-500 powered by two G13 type (SR44 or LRAd) batteries. As batteries ower weakens, the characters on the display become im and difficult to read. When this happens, replace ‘the batteries as soon as possible, Precautions! Incorrectly using batteries can cause them to burst or leak, possibly damaging the interior of the unit.
