RESOLUTION NO. 16, s-2020

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY CAPTAN, HON. MICHAEL E. MINA, TO ENTER
INTO AND SIGN FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF BOGNA A
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE LEGAZPI CITY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF LAB SA BARANGAY BOGNA and Partnership in Community
Works”.

WHEREAS, a letter dated August 16, 2020 addressed to the Honorable Members of the Sanggunian Barangay,
duly received by the Office of the Secretary to the Barangay on August 16, 2020, with attached draft
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Barangay Council of Bogna and Legazpi City National High
School for the establishment of LAB sa BARANGAY, was forwarded by Hon. Michael Mina, for urgent action
and was referred to the Joint Committee on Education and Culture and Committee on Laws, Rules and
Privileges on August 20, 2020 on the 15th Regular Session of the Barangay Council;

WHEREAS, the Legazpi City National High School recognize the urgent need to broaden the access to
education by providing alternative education system,specifically maximizing its partnership to communities;

WHEREAS, the Legazpi City National High School,commits in setting up Community Learning Center in
partnership with the barangay , that will provide reading materials for the youth of the barangay and other
community works like livelihood project;

WHEREAS, the Legazpi City National High School expresses its intention to open a partnership with the
Barangay Council of Bogna in the establishment and implementation of LAB sa Barangay and other community
engagements such as livelihood project;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council ensures to uphold the established partnership by making available the offices
to provide the room and services to the students who will be utilizing the community library and maximizing
the services of the barangay in community works;

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Barangay Council of Bogna to authorize the Barangay Captain Michael
E. Miña to enter into and sign for and in behalf of the Barangay Council of Bogna a Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA) with the Legazpi City National High School for the establishment and implementation of
LAB sa Barangay and other community works.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the full text of the Memorandum of Agreement shall be attached on this resolution:
