My name is Haimanot Ephrem. I am writing this letter to express my genuine interest in the
attorney general position. I am 2023 graduate from Dire Dawa University with some excellent
achievements. I have 3.55 CGPA and score exit exam 70 out of 100.

Apart from academic performances I was able to be selected as the best orator and best female
orator of 2014e.c 6th national moot court competition held at Wolaita Sodo University. It was a
life turning experience for me because I was able to observe court room procedures with
analyzing laws and facts given at hand. As a result it motivates me to become a public prosecutor
and working at the sacred court room became my dream. Besides I have completed a great deal
of trainings and served as dialogue facilitator for peace dialogue prepared by Ethiopian Law
School Association. I provided a legal aid service at Dire Dawa university legal aid center and
practiced my externship at Dire Dawa attorney general office for three months.

The job role for attorney general especially caught my eye because of my interest to become a
public prosecutor is during my externship at Dire Dawa attorney general office for three months,
I was preparing myself for this position and gained a strong knowledge and good understanding
of the law and practice.
