I. INTRODUCTION

As a consequence of completing this course, I was able to develop my knowledge of

rhetoric, critical analysis, reading, and information literacy. In order to operate a
successful firm, it's crucial to have a positive workplace culture. I completed the
activities throughout the semester, which enhanced my abilities and increased my
knowledge in several business fields.
In reflective writing, a creative writing genre, you apply your own ideas to evaluate
a situation or experience. Before summarizing the writer's opinions on the subject,
essays represent the instructor's theoretical assessment of the course material, core
concepts, and ideas.
Despite being a very important subject, exploring business practices is not a
favorite among students. Because of the wealth of relevant and practical knowledge
that students learn from this subject, it is incredibly beneficial.
Economy and economic growth are always important, especially in an era of
industrialization and modernization like ours. It contributes to the upkeep, growth, and
fulfillment of human needs. As a result, adaptability to the corporate environment and
commercial skills are necessary. In my report, I will describe my business knowledge,
talents, and future goals.

II. CHAPTERS
1. CHAPTER ONE: Your fitness for a business environment
a. Business awareness
- Business awareness is one of the fundamental talents that employers typically regard as
valuable, but that far too many graduates lack.
- What exactly do recruiters mean by "business awareness"? If you ask a variety of
different employers, you will most likely get a variety of replies. However, many
employers in the commercial, governmental, and voluntary sectors believe that corporate
perception typically falls into two categories:
 Professional knowledge
 Understand the job-related tasks, abilities, and characteristics needed to
succeed in these activities.
 Understanding of the business environment
 Understand the operation and background of an organization, firm, or
economic sector. How are local, national, and global politics and
economics influencing it?
b. Personal traits
- One of the characteristics that distinguishes high-potential employees from others is their
capacity to be more productive, completing more tasks with less resources or in less time.
Employees with a lot of potential are distinct in that they are actively engaged in what the
firm is doing, its strategy, values, and basic goals, and they want to see it succeed.
- I have an excellent work ethic. Effort ethic is your dedication to the importance of
diligence and hard work. Work ethic is highly valued by many businesses and companies
since it increases productivity, which leads to higher sales and profits. I believe I am a
person who effortlessly adjusts to new situations. The capacity and willingness to adjust
to change is referred to as flexibility. Many organizations like to recruit people who are
flexible in their professional and personal lives, especially in fast-paced or dynamic
sectors.
c. Experience
- I worked part-time in a Starbucks coffee, where I learned more about business and
acquired additional experience. The capacity to communicate was the first thing I learnt.
Whatever job you pursue, the ability to communicate with coworkers, trade and
collaborate in work, and report to superiors is an essential talent. This is one of the most
critical talents to have if you work in customer service. The secret to developing loyal
consumers and boosting the business's image is to treat clients with respect and politeness.
- The second thing I learnt was how to properly manage my time. Effective time
management is a necessary ability for most occupations and one that companies value.
They want their staff to understand how to work and prioritize their tasks in order for the
machine to function efficiently.

2. CHAPTER TWO: Your knowledge, abilities, skills, weakness

a. Knowledge
- This academic year, I developed new skills and learnt a variety of programs. I learned
about the firm through paperwork as well as real experience at the SP-ITC port, where I
was given the opportunity to attend on a school field trip. People Management has
expanded my understanding of people management, an important skill that is highly
valuable in corporate, company management, and employee sectors.
6
- Furthermore, I am more familiar with the SWOT Analysis Model, which is a great tool
for understanding the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats in a project or
corporate organization. Businesses may easily perceive their goals as well as issues inside
and outside the company that might favorably or adversely influence the goals established
by the firm through SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis is the most fundamental and useful
technique for developing a strategy plan since it allows you to gain an overview not only
of the business itself but also of the elements that always impact and decide the business.
impacts the success of your company.
b. Abilities
- After much investigation, I discovered that I am qualified to work in the business field.
The first is that negotiation skills are necessary for salespeople to attain their initial
objectives. Negotiation requires acute thinking, rapid conduct, and patience to debate,
regulate emotions, and have reasons to properly convince consumers, bring sentiments to
customers. It gives them a good feeling to compromise and safeguard their interests. The
following step is problem solving. Good salesmen have a wealth of expertise and
problem-solving abilities. I can look at the situation calmly, see my target, and execute.
I'm constantly looking for opportunities to actively solve problems and gain experience.
c. Skills
- Whether you are actually qualified or not, starting and sustaining a business requires a
combination of abilities and efforts. After studying and investigating, I discovered that I
have the requisite business abilities. And one of them is teamwork. When working in
groups, I always collaborate closely with my coworkers to solve challenges quickly and
efficiently. This is a talent that cannot be overlooked when working on long-term
initiatives.
- The next skill is communication. Because individuals in business must be straightforward
communicators who are fluent in all modes of communication. If a salesperson's look is
the initial impression, communication is crucial. There are various ways to communicate,
but language not only allows you to interact with clients, but it also allows you to grasp
some of their goals. Customers will trust you if you use good judgment and handle
problems well.
- Last but not least is time management. When I started college, I learnt how to effectively
manage my time so that I could arrange my time in the most efficient way possible. I
know how to meticulously schedule my day so that I am not late for work. I was able to
adjust my schedule to meet my schoolwork, club activities, and participation in
extracurricular events, and everything worked out perfectly.
d. Weakness
- In addition to my strengths, I believe I have limitations that I should address when
conducting business. The first is confidence in oneself. Despite the fact that I can
converse fluently, I still have poor self-esteem in myself and my talents. I also struggle
with emotional control. I am highly emotional, and I might be influenced by unpleasant
feelings when I speak, making the other person feel uneasy. This is a blunder in business.
as an example When a potential consumer responds negatively. "This product is overly
useful" or "I'm not interested in this. The rest of the talk will almost certainly be
dominated by the salesperson's unease. You may not be able to catch the bug if you allow
your emotions to take over. If you allow your emotions to take control, you may miss the
gaps they disclose. In truth, many salespeople have been sidetracked by their emotions.
Even to the point of not paying attention to what the consumer has to say next. You will
be unable to sell and will lose consumers as a result.

III. CONCLUSION
- After taking this course, I will be able to acquire experience in my current profession
while also opening up other opportunities that I would not have explored previously. As a
consequence of the educational possibilities offered by teachers, I have gained a better
understanding of the fundamentals of marketing, human resources, and how to prepare
reflective reports. What I didn't know at the time was how many connections these
concepts have in business. Any administrative position will need a thorough
understanding of these concepts. I realized that the strategic concepts that intersected with
each of these areas were the most beneficial to me. I have, however, taken the first step
toward a bright future.
