MONITORING AND EVALUATION TOOL FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND

ENGINEERING (STE) PROGRAM
(DO 21, s. 2019, DO 55, s. 2010)

A special curricular program within a school that aims to cater to the needs
of scientifically inclined learners. The learners of this program are provided with
opportunities through enhanced K to 12 curricula with a strong focus on Science,
Mathematics, and Research which aim to enhance science process skills and provide
an avenue to practice their interest through an inquiry and outcomes-based
instructional approach.

Objectives:
1. Determine the profile and the context of schools implementing the Special
Curricular Program in Science, Technology, and Engineering and extent of
implementation in the different schools, the inputs crucial to its
implementation and how these are sourced and utilized.
2. Strengthen the implementation of the Special Curricular Program for Science,
Technology, and Engineering in selected secondary schools by examining the
delivery of the program, quality of implementation, and assessing the
organizational context, personnel, procedures, and inputs.
3. Provide policy feedback for the sustainability and continuous improvement of
the special curricular program.
