What is the value of reading ‘real’ history books?

History books are worth reading because of the many benefits they provide, such as
developing your vocabulary, especially your historical vocabulary which which include
important words and names such as the ‘habsburg’ family name or when ‘Winchelsa’ and
‘Waymouth’ the south coast ports that were very important for England at the time

Additionally reading history books also provides key and interesting historical information ,for
instance, I learned how badly women were treated at the time through Philips treatment of
juana leaving her in a situation where she was where she was “manipulated abandoned and
deeply depressed” also I learned of King Henry the seventh’s horrible childhood and this led
me to understanding his rule better.
