Gunpowder

Humans are really greedy animals. We have always lived for our desires. Every past event
that testifies to how a human lived and what we have been through in the past. What would
happen if we didn’t discover electricity or the telephone? Would we hold a candle or
communicate by letter. So every discovery has its own value and we’ve been using it all our
lives.
Person who invented gunpowder was developing a new type of medicine but it became a
weapon. We are using gunpowder at war and killing or harming a lot of people. Maybe some
people say gunpowder is a useless achievement. Of course it's brought some advantages in
war and caused the creation of destructive weapons. But we are still using it for our desire.
Gunpowder also has many good qualities. Example we are using gunpowder at mine. Break
the rocks that humans cannot break, dig deeper and use them to demolish large objects. The
benefits are great because it makes people’s work easier. If we have a dilemma between
digging ourselves or using gunpowder, we overwhelmingly choose gunpowder.
Finally we are exploring the galaxy now and gunpowder is the most important component of a
rocket. We can’t go to the cosmos without a rocket or send a robot and machine. It’s a new area
and some people say our life on earth is numbered so we need a new planet to survive. While I
think it’s just their judgement but I can’t think maybe it's true and we need to know cosmos.
Every achievement in human history has brought the changes in our daily lifestyle. In my
opinion gunpowder has many positive effects on human life. But we can’t ignore it’s deadly side
because human life is important after all too. The achievements are making our work easier for
us and it became it’s route.
