There is no significant interaction between tillage system and sugarcane variety, F(2,12) =
2.52, p = .1218. Main effects analysis revealed that there is a significant difference in the
mean height of sugarcane plant between the three varieties, F(2, 12) = 4.85, p = 0.0286 at
the 5% level of significance. Pairwise mean comparison using Least Significant Difference
(LSD) test reported that varieties 2 (Phil2004-2289 ) and 3 (Phil99-1793) have significantly
longer plan height than variety 1(Phil2006-0827). However, there is no significant difference
in the plant height between zero tillage and conventional tillage systems, F(1,3) = 3.15, p =
0.1739 at the 5% level of significance.
