This document describes the features, some key points and known limitations of “ Modicon Libraries 2020 -
General Purpose V2 for Control Expert - Release Note”.

 4. Impact of Control Blocks Update
When you update Control blocks, systems in which these Control blocks are used are affected. To help you
assess the impact of a Control blocks update, impacts are grouped in categories. Each block belongs to an
impact category.

Impact Category Description

A Update of Control blocks may result in stop of Controller.

B Hardware/Communication mapping may be lost.
C Minor Change, Incremental deploy may be required.
D Update in Supervision Include project.
R Recommend updating Control blocks (Not Mandatory).

1. Help on type for the User created Control Expert DFBs are not supported.

7. Known Limitation
1. During M580 HSBY Switchover, freshness of the drive (ATV9xx/ATv6xx) is getting healthy after 30-
35sec in Implicit Communication. This issue occurs sporadically. If user is experiencing this observation,
User should call support and check on the necessary steps to resolve the issue quoting the following
support case number which is reported to Drives Team.
