LEARNING OUTCOMES
You will meet the following learning outcomes during the presentations, laboratory
exercises, and post-assessment in this Braking System module of the 725C, 730C,
and 730C EJ Articulated Trucks course:

• Visual Presentation 1. Given the classroom presentation and the Lab 1 Worksheets, participants will
take notes on the location of the components in the 725C, 730C, and 730C EJ
Articulated Truck braking system and briefly describe their functionality.

• Lab 1 1. Given the Lab 1 Worksheets and a 725C, 730C, and/or a 730C EJ Articulated
Truck, participants will locate and identify the braking system components on the
class machine during the lab exercise.

• Lab 2 1. Given a 725C, 730C, and/or a 730C EJ Articulated Truck, appropriate service
literature, tooling, and the Lab 2 Worksheet, participants will perform the braking
system tests outlined on the worksheet and make the appropriate adjustments to
within specifications as needed during lab exercises.

• Post-Assessment 1. Given all reference material and class notes, participants will answer questions
regarding the 725C, 730C, and/or a 730C EJ Articulated Trucks’ braking system
during a Post-Assessment.
