Dear Preschool teaching,

Freshman I didn’t know what to do with my future career, until I was in Mrs. Veldkamp’s class

thats when it all started, I looked for jobs that dealt with kids and teaching them and finally I got

the job at Boost, then Summer boost, now at the High School Preschool room. At the beginning

of the year I was scared and nervous. Wondering if the kids will ever like me.

Timid and Shy they all came inone by one introducing themselves to me. Then automatically we

all clicked. Seeing those kids smile everyday to the things I said to them made me ralize that

yes, I want to be an educator. I want to teach and see kids smile and use their creativity

everyday, making joking, and playing with their friends while still wanting to learn about the

world. Then at the end of 2nd period, we all are kind of sad because I have to leave to go to my

next class. But its okay because the very next day we get to all see each other again.
