Introduction Letter

Dear Friends,

All of us at Learning Without Tears are committed to helping you continue student learning,
no matter where that learning takes place. We are continuing to share with you free resources
to help teachers, families, and caregivers support learning in every environment.

December is a time for giving back, thanking those who care about you, and baking cookies!
We have created a set of downloadable activity sheets to use this month and throughout the
winter, and you will see these themes throughout the activities. There are even note cards for
children to color, cut, and write thank you notes.

We teach children to write on our developmentally appropriate double-lined paper.

Our double lines control children’s letter size, spacing, and placement.
