The visit was attended by 118 students and four faculty members: Prof. A. P. Lukkad, Prof. E. K. Rathod, Prof. K. M. Garse, and Prof. S. D. Limaye. II. Why Nature Delight Dairy? The choice of Nature Delight Dairy & Dairy Product for this industrial visit was based on several factors: 1. Relevance: Nature Delight Dairy is a significant player in the dairy industry, producing a wide range of dairy products. The visit provided an opportunity to gain insights into the dairy processing industry, a vital sector of the food industry. 2. Local Presence: Located in Indapur, Maharashtra, Nature Delight Dairy is easily accessible for our educational institution, making it a convenient choice for students. 3. Objectives of the Visit The primary objectives of our visit to Nature Delight Dairy & Dairy Product were: 1. Visit Details Company Overview: Nature Delight Dairy & Dairy Products Private Limited was incorporated on May 12, 2016. It is classified as a non-government company registered at the Registrar of Companies, Pune. The company's product portfolio includes milk powders, butter, ghee, cheese, flavored milk, and more. With an authorized share capital of Rs. 250,000,000 and paid-up capital of Rs. 181,126,304, it plays a significant role in the dairy industry. Visit Highlights: Our visit commenced at 10:00 AM, and we began with an informative animation movie that showcased the company's history and its current operations in the dairy industry. The technical team conducted presentations explaining the automation of dairy processes, including functional block diagrams and computer-controlled machinery. We visited four key sections of Nature Delight Dairy Plant: 1. Butter Plant: Here, students learned about butter production processes. 2. Milk Powder Plant: We observed the manufacturing, packing, and dispatching functions related to milk powder. 3. Refrigeration Unit: Students gained knowledge about the refrigeration systems employed in dairy processing. 4. Milk Process Unit: The pasteurized milk production process was explained in detail. V. Outcome of the Visit The visit to Nature Delight Dairy & Dairy Product yielded valuable outcomes: 1. Practical Exposure: Students gained practical exposure to dairy processing, witnessing machinery and processes in action. 2.
