Creating New ATPs

ATPs can be easily modified to change board size and other details you may find yourself often manually
adjusting to suit certain jobs. This can be easily automated with a new ATP by following the instructions
below.

Opening the ATP

The first step to modifying an ATP is the same as nesting a job – Opening the ATP interface.

Once you have the ATP window open, load the board you want to base the new one off. (it is easier to
modify an existing ATP than create one from scratch, so choose whichever one is most similar to what
you want to create).

Modifying the ATP

Now that you have loaded an ATP, you can make the necessary changes for your new ATP.
The most common changes are modifying the board size/thickness, and/or changing the tooling
strategies used for that board.

Saving the ATP

Once you have made the changes you need, it is time to save the modified settings as a new ATP.
To do this, simply click the ‘Save As…’ button and type in the desired name for your new board/ATP,
then press save.
As long as you give it a different name to the original, this will create a new ATP with the changes you
made, whilst leaving the original unchanged.
