Trigonometry
Specifications:
1. 10 students per group
2. Encoded
- short bondpaper
-Times New Roman
3. With documentations (Pictures while working the task, picture of the object being
measured, picture of the student taking the angle of elevation)
4. Place your output on a clean short sliding folder

Task:
1. Make a Clinometer – the procedure on how to make it and use it will be given
to you (video).
2. use your Clinometer to find the angle of elevation , so that you can find the
height of the following:
a. height of the Administration Building
b. height of the biggest Pine Tree at the high school quadrangle
c. height of the flagpole
d. height of the grade school Building
e. height of the college school Building
f. height of the basketball ring at the oval
3. each of the following will be documented while doing the task.

Your paper will have the following contents:


a. Front Page (must have heading, Performance Task In Trigonometry
(Mathematics 9), Your Group names , my name and date Submitted)
b. Table of Contents
c. Answers with complete Solution and Documentation.

Note:
You should construct a problem, for example
: Matthew is standing 40m away from the flagpole with a 20° angle of
elevation. Can you help Matthew determine the height of the flagpole? Show
your solution with Illustration.
