According to the article, cyber-bullying is prevalent in the Philippines with a significant

number of individuals admitting to experiencing or witnessing online harassment. In
response, the government enacted the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 to protect
online users from various forms of abuse. The government is also working hand-in-hand
with businesses, academic institutions, and communities to raise awareness about
cyber-bullying and promote safety measures. Additionally, social media platforms and
internet service providers are encouraged to take up corporate responsibility in curbing
online abuse. To create a safe and healthy online environment, the article suggests that
education, mental health support, and better parental guidance are essential.
