II. Research Time

1. Do research and name 3 things that make the following type of relationship difficult.
Relationship: Parent and Child
Parents have too many controls to their child, not setting boundaries.

When child are in teens, many things can lure them.So parents have to take responsi-
bility to ensure their kids are not attracted to those bad things. This can cause many
conflicts between parents and child.

Sometimes parents and their kids didn’t talk to each other often,so when children
face fail, they can’t give support immediately. That would make relationships more
distant.
2.

Relationship: Husband and Wife

Husband and wife have poor consensus on many things.Such as financial problem and
religious belief .

The second one is about child.Couples have less time to spend with each other after
having kids.

The last one is daily stress .Everything from your daily life may cause couples’ relation-
ship more stress.

Relationship: Siblings
Everyone has their own personality.Although the two people are siblings.Having dif-
ferent personalities may cause different problems.Sometimes it can cause conflicts.

Parents may wanted to be equal to every child. But it may ignore every child’s unique-
ness.

Every child may face different circumstances. So sometimes the conflicts between the
siblings may come from the different life experiences.

Relationship: Teacher and student

Conflict can arise when a teacher's ideal contradicts a student's deeply held belief.

Student engagement during a lesson is one of the top sources of teacher-to-student

conflict.

Emotional students, in particular, take the most meaning not from what you say but
how you say it.

III. Group Work

(2) Be ready to convince others by giving 3 reasons.
(1)Roommate
(2)Rommmates aren’t the people you familiar the most ,so you can’t share most
things to them.In most times roommates are in the same department,so you may
have to compete with them and you might feel tired. You can’t choose roommates
that mean you may meet people who have bad habits.

very familiar. We are like friends but are strange. Not very strange with each other like
real stranger. The second one is sometimes you can’t choose your roommates, school
may distribute your roommates. It may cause I have the probability to have room-
mates with bad habits or bad personalities. And I need to have private space ,but live
with roommates means you need to share a space.
