2 (a) A box contains 9 black and 6 red discs. If one disc is picked at random from the box, find the
probability that it is red. [2]

(b) A dealer bought a car at K150 000.00. Given that the car depreciated using the straight line method
at 5% of the original cost per year, calculate the book value of the car after 3 years. [3]

(c) (i) Construct triangle ABC in which AB=7.5 cm , BC =6 cm and AC=4.5 cm . [1]

(iv) With centre O and radius OA, draw a circle which passes through the vertices A, B and C. [1]
