51 13 220 Removing and installing / replacing middle trim strip

on rear lid

Special tools required:

00 9 317

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove both rear lights

Release screws (1) on inside of rear lid.

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (2) ‐ rear lid
actuation button and plug connection (3) ‐ reversing
camera.

Note:
Graphic originates from F01

Carefully release trim strip (1) from tailgate (2)

downwards with special tool 00 9 317 and
remove.Installation note:
If necessary, replace damaged plastic clamps (3).
