Assembly and set-up ™ Installation of turntable platter 1 Place the turntable platter on the center spindle Not The rotor is connected to the underside ofthe turntable Platter. (Fig. 3) | Installation of headshell (Fig. 4) Ingert the headshell into the frontend ot the tubular arm, and turn the locking nut clockwise (in theareetion shown by the, ferrow *A"), with the neagshel mly held horizontally, 1 Installation of balance weight (Fig. 5) Place the balance weight on the rear shaft of the tonearm '@ Adjustments of horizontal zero (0) balance and stylus pressure 1. Remove the stylus protecior. if your cartidge has a detachable one. Be caretul not to tauch your fingers to the stylus tip, 2 Release the arm clamp and lit the tonearm trom the arm fest 0 tree it 3. Atter adjusting the horizontal zero (0) balance, turn the. balance woight in the diection ofthe arrow and align to the correct stylus pressure. (Fig. 9.) Die Tonermiifthohe ist vor der Auslieferung im Werk aut einen Bereich von 5~10 mm eingestellt worden Wenn fur den zu verwendenden Tonabnehmer eine Ju- stierung erforderlich ist, nehmen Sie diasa aut folgende Woiee vor ‘+ Setzen Sie zuerst den Nadelschutz aut + Driicken Sie den Bereitschaltsschalter in die "\)"-Posi= tion (1m), damit sich der Platentelier nich drehen kann ‘+ Die Justiorschraube nat einen Sechskantkopt, Orehen Sle die Justierschraubs, wahrenddem Sie die Tonarm: liitineung niedergedrickt alten, amit sich die Schraube leicht drehen lt, mud die Tonarm- liftahrung unbedingt niedergecrickt werden, Falls die Tonwiedergabe nicht sofort nach dem Absenken Ver: die Damptungszeit durch Drehon der Justir schraube entgegen dom Uhrzsigersinn, woduren der Ab stand zwischen der Nadelspitze und der Plattenobertliche vergréBort wied Falls beim Absenken oder Abheben dor Nadel stdrende Gerdusene gehort werden: Verringarn Sie den Abstand durch Drehen der Justiorschraube im Unrzeigersinn.‘Anmerkung: Da die Justierechraubo einen Sechskantkopt hat, mud die Tonarmiftfaheung wahrond des Justierens unbe: Gingt gedruck! gehalten werden, damitsich die Schraube leicht arenen last. (Abb. 20) Vergewissern Sie sich, daB der Sechskantkopt in die Tonermiftlunrung zurdekkenrt, wenn diese losgelassen wird '® Justierung der automatischen Start-Position (Abb. 21, 22) Die Auto-Start-Position (wo die Nadelspitze beim auto- matiscnen Betriep aut aie Schaliplattenoberllache aufsetzt) sollte juste wercen, wenn eine Schalipiatte auf dem Piattenteliorautliogt Wenn die Nadelepitze nicht auf der richtigon Stelle aut dor Platte landet, sollte die Position wio folgtjustiort werden. Verwenden Sie unbedingt eine 80 em-Plate fur die Ein: stellung der Auto-Start-Position, 11 Befestigen Sle cen Tonarm mit der Arretierklammer auf der Tonarmablage. 2. Nemen Sie dia Gummikappe von der Auto-Start-Posi tions-Justierschraube ab. Drehen Sie denn die Justirschraube mit einem Schrau- benzieher im Unrzsiger- oder Gegenuhrzsigersinn 3, Wenn die Nadelspitze aut den Wiedergabotell der Plate abgesenk! wird, drenen Sie die Justierschraube im Unrzeigersinn 4, Wenn ie Nadelepitze auBerhalb der Platte abgesonkt wird, drehen Sie die Justierschraube entgegen dem Unrzeigersinn 5. Die Auto-Start-Position mu8 so eingestelt werden, dad die Nagelapitze 7 bis 2 mm von der auserston Tonville tenttemt autsetzt. (Abb, 22) Auswechseln von Teilen @ Auswechsein der Abtastnadel (Abd. 23) Dieses Gerat ist mit einer Diamantnadel ausgerdstet Die Lebonsdauer der Nadel variert je nach den Be- rutzungsbedingungen, doch ist es emptehlenswert, die Nadel beim Auttreten erster Abnutzungsorscheinungen auszuwechseln, wobei 500 Betriebsstunden als ungefahrer Standaré git 4. Nenmen Sie den Tonarmkopt /Tonabnenmer nach Losen {08 Klammrings vom Tonarm. Halten Sie den Nageltrager zwischen zwei Fingern, und ziehen Sie ihn heraus, wie in der Abbildung gezeigt 2. Funren Sie den neuen Nadeltrager so wait wie maglich indie Ortaung des Tonabnehmerkrpers ein, Montage des Tonabnehmers (Abb. 24.25.) Wenn ein anderer Tonarmkopt-Typ verwendet wird kann es vorkommen, da der Handgrtf boi der auto- mmatischen Schwenkung des Tonarmes gegen die innere ‘Oberseite der Abdeckhaube anschlagt. In einem solchen Fal sollte die Abdacknaube wahrend des Abspielens hochgeklappt bleiben Ml Den Lautetirkeregler des Verstirkers oder Emptingers vor Ein- oder Ausbau des Tonarmkopfes aut “0” stellen, oder Strom ausschalten. Wenn der Tonarmkopt bel noher Lautstarkeeinstellung bin- oder ausgebaut wird, bestent, abgasonen von storenden Gerauschon, dio Moglichkeit, dal die Lautsprecher be- sehadigt worden.
