ABSTRACT:
Numerous educational groups are finding it more and more difficult to maintain the outdated
hourly attendance system. To solve this issue, a face recognition-based attendance system
has been implemented. This methodology can considerably reduce the probability of
students using proxies. This could be the next step toward modern, cognitive schooling. This
framework uses live camera streaming to track attendance and OpenCV to build frames of
the students faces. The framework heavily relies on the dlib package to precisely record the
student's facial coordinates. These pictures are put up against the pictures of the pupils'
faces in the database. Educational institutions can efficiently track student attendance by
putting this strategy into practice. This technique could be applied in numerous other
industries due to the significance of face recognition-based attendance in contemporary
culture.
