I. Use the Line or Polyline tool to draw the walls according to the dimensions of your floor plan. Which is 15 meters in length and 10 in width II. Ensure to accurately position and align the walls based on your design requirements. III. Divide the walls by putting a line through wall as a guide. For instance, the left most side of the rectangular floorplan should be divide into 4-2-4 meters. Do this on each side of the rectangle (3-3-4 meters). IV. On the upper side of the rectangle put a division just like the part III (5-6-4 meter), start from the left going to the right. V. Create a line along the division that you created and this will serves as your interior walls. VI. A very useful tip is that the division serves as the limit of the wall so for example, the division in the upper side is 5 and the division in left most is 4 that is only wall you will make. 2. Use ‘offset’ to put the desired wall thickness (exterior wall: 0.2m, interior wall: 0.1m). After using offset you can use ‘trim’ to remove some of the excess lines in the floor plan. 3. Next, create a new layer for the doors and windows. I. Create a new layer for doors and windows to keep them organized. II. Place doors and windows using appropriate AutoCAD blocks or by creating custom blocks, ensuring accurate placement and dimensions according to your design. III. The sizes of the door may vary in every specific room or place. IV. Put the windows on the middle of each division of the upper side. 4. Use the Dimension tool to add dimensions that indicate the length of walls, width of doors, and height of windows. This step helps in providing accurate measurements in the floor plan. 5. After adding dimensions to the floor plan add text. I. Utilize the Text tool to add labels that identify rooms, areas, or any other crucial elements within the floor plan. II. Place text labels in a clear and readable manner, ensuring they correspond to the appropriate spaces or elements in the floor plan.
