Product description:

Grilon C FE 10146 natural is a Copolyamide with a low melting point.

Grilon C FE 10146 is characterised by the following properties

 Very high flexibility and toughness
 Very good thermoforming and orientation properties
 Outstanding shrink characteristics
 Good transparency
 Exceptional low melting point
Grilon C FE 10146 natural is intended for processing of multi-layer cast film extrusion
and blown film extrusion.

Processing:

Extrusion conditions

Grilon C FE 10146 natural can be processed economically and without problems on

all machines suitable for polyamides. In order to start up the machine for processing
Grilon C FE 10146 natural, melt temperatures between 170°C-210°C are re-
commended:
Hopper zone: 15 – 60 °C
Zone 1: 150 – 180 °C
Zone 1: 160 – 190 °C
Zone 3: 160 – 200 °C
Adapter: 160 – 200 °C
Die: 160 – 200 °C
Melt temperature: 170 – 210 °C

Grilon C FE 10146 natural is supplied dry, ready for processing.

If for any reason the material has absorbed water it should be dried
(e.g. desiccant type driers: Temperature 70 - 80 °C, time: 4 - 12 hours, dew point of
the dryer - 30°C).
