Episode 1: In the Graveyard

He almost lost the way because of the foggy weather and he was
frightened.

it, meat pie and a file.

Because Pip told him that he had seen another prisoner.

Episode 2: Christmas Day.

1- Why didn’t Mrs. Joe ask Pip many questions when he got back home?
Because she was too busy cooking Christmas dinner.
2- Who was coming to eat lunch with Mr. Joe’s family?
Three neighbors and Uncle Pumblechook.
3- What did Mr. Pumblchook bring with him?
He brought two bottles of wine.

Because he could only think of the pie when his sister might find out it had

Episode 3: Unexpected invitation

He found out that Joe couldn’t write and read well.

Because his father didn’t let him to go to school.

Mrs. Joe - his sister looked after Pip

Episode 4: At Miss Havisham’s

He met a tall, dark man with very little hair on his head when he

returned to Miss Havisham's house after six days.

He asked Pip why he had come there.

Pip saw a table in the middle of the room and there was something

hoped she could help him in some way.

Jaggers gave him some money to spend and then sent him to stay

with Mr Herbert Pocket at Barnard's Inn.

Pip's new home was small old and looked empty.

5- Who appeared on the stairs a few minutes after Pip had got to his

new home?

A few minutes after Pip had got there a young man (Herbert Pocket)

appeared on the stairs.

They had met at Miss Havisham's house many years before.

They talked about Estella.

Mr. Jaggers invited Bentley Drummle and Pip to his house for dinner.

Because Drummle had drunk too much he was being ruder and kept

saying how clever and strong he was.

He said if they want to see real strength they should look at Molly's

arms, and that her arms were the strongest arms he had ever seen.

17- Who was going to come to London to see Pip?

Joe was going to come to London to see Pip.

18- What did Pip want to forget and what wasn't he sure about?

Pip wanted to forget his old life and he was not sure that he wanted

to see Joe.

Joe came to visit Pip to see that he was well and to tell him that Miss
